hori ex2(http://www.amazon.com/Xbox360-Fighting-Stick-EX-Xbox-360/dp/B000V02P6Q)
madcatz wii stick with pc converter(http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Tatsunoko-Capcom-Arcade-FightStick-Nintendo/dp/B0032ISZL8/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1312088036&sr=8-23)
From what I can tell, its so cheap because it is for the wii and not because of cheap parts. It seems exactly the same as the madcats sf4 stick which cost over $100, but I cant be sure.
I really don't care about the extra buttons, but the second option does come out cheaper and I would be able to use it on Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, as well as the converter for my classic controller to PC. I'm just not sure if any imput lag or some other random factors come from using the converter.
help would be appreciated, although i kinda doubt anybody that reads this would have experience with using the converter lol.
edit: and other suggestions for sticks would be welcome[spoiler]
I realize you said your tight on cash, but if your gonna drop $100 you mind as well add another $50 and go with a Madcatz TE stick. It really is worth it. the hardware is so nice and its so easily mod-able that you will never need to replace it again. You can just swap out any parts that go bad.
Just my two cents. The TE's are pure luxury.
$100? It would be just under $50 to go for the second option, which is wayyy off the price of the TE. Keep in mind I still have to buy sf4:ae... which is an extra chuck of cash.
The TvC Wii stick actually uses Omron microswitches (the same ones used in arcade standard Sanwa) in its generic MadCatz stick/buttons. They're not inferior at all to Sanwa/Seimitsu parts, just different. Go with the TvC stick if all you want it for is PC stuff and it's that much cheaper.
After all the hype leading up to it, Grand Finals at Evo were so disappointing to me . Latif got fucking schooled for having such a limited bag of tricks it seemed.
Hmm, so after watching evo I really want to play some ssf4 again. I'm pretty bad and haven't played in a while but I used to main sim and he got nerfed a lot? I usually like to play more defensive chars but after watching evo it seems like all out offense is the way to go . What should I do?

Choose seth, but instead of going poongko rushdown style, just turtle as much as possible (this is a bit harder without the jumping fierce). Seth's f.dp beats everything, he's got the sonic boom w/ dhalsim arms, wall jumps, teleport, and a shitload of other defensive tools. It's also better on his health to play defensively.
That having been said, rushdown seth is a bigger bitch to handle in most cases
Team USA vs. Team Japan in after hours "Salty" Suite.

To be fair team US was stupid to send a Ryu and Dhalsim first. Those are 3-7 matchups against Fei Long

Switch, not really but a lot of players have been trying to dabble with him like Gootecks and Arturo Sanchez, unfortunately fei's playstyle just totally doesn't suit Art WHATSOEVER.
There are other big name Fei players in America, CJ Truth the 14 year old got top 32 I believe, and Inthul is a top player as well, didn't perform that great this evo though.
Looks like the rebalance has been confirmed. Thought they would at least wait til the end of EVO or SBO to make a decision but this was tweeted during EVO. Capcom so hasty.
It was confirmed on like Saturday or something, and people had been hinting about it since Thursday, and had the assumption ever since E3 and SDCC. And it is after EVO so what more can you ask for? There is no mention that they're rebalancing the arcade boards so we don't even know for sure if it effects SBO one way or another.
