Yeah Juggernaut with tons of armour investment AND endurance charges works well. you mean juggernaut with free permanent physical immunity works well why waste time on armour and shit lol
I just hope they release a solid way to actually freeze yourself.

yeah I kinda didn't like that, it's like why get the double body armor if you can get permanent immunity
but I'll tell you why. the double armor will always be there.. dont want something to go wrong and get 1hit when I have no mitigation, lol
also the route to permanent IC is 4 points, and there's some other mighty fine stuff on that tree

There's 10 points and you get 8 of them eventually I'm not sure what the problem is.
Plus you get to run bloodrage free now (not that it was ever a big issue as marauder but free is free).
The big question to me is how deep do you go into auto-proccing the immortal call since the easiest proc is CWDT + doedre's elixir but that flask uses it's charges real fast and marauders pay dearly to get flask nodes. Most of the other potential triggers are less consistent.

most people play sc or hc these days?

I am playing hc. I think typically the leagues start out with most people playing hc, and then switch to most people playing sc by the end

oh I meant TL people. ofc overall more standard players

I'd prefer not to spend >1 second out of every 3 trying to cast defensive spells hence my desire to automatically proc it. Clearspeed meta and all that.

After 4+ weeks at the latest SC is most definitely more active either way.
Personally I think I'll do something similar like last league where I start out HC and then swap over eventually for challenges and to just chill. I feel like that got me to have fun with the best of both worlds. :3
As a sidenote since the official TL TS is now definitely out of service for the new leagues you guys are free to either use the TL discord or a TS I ended up renting because I don't want to deal with discord personally. Channels are set up and I'll be around on launch for sure.

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like discord.

I would recommend just using Evo's Teamspeak server rather than discord, but if there is interest...
+ Show Spoiler [discord stuff] +The official TL discord path of exile stuff got removed because we weren't using it. I still have a path of exile discord server I set up last league when we were still using Teamspeak if there is interest in discord. https://discord.gg/0lCp0isWtJenqzkpNote that the server is currently empty as I haven't released the link before. If you have any concerns about the server or suggestions for improvement please send me a private message on the discord server (CloudMephisto).

sounds good, I'll hit up Evo's TS when the league starts. I think I'll start SC because I'm pretty nooby now. Been running through content in Standard to get re-acclimated and I have like 6 deaths at lvl 75 x.x mostly A4 stuff

One thing I need to theorycraft when I have a bit of free time is windripper vs new voltaxic. Wondering if the former will come back in vogue with the conversion nerf.

Would be nice to get people to the discord channel. Anyone interested in party mapping in next league?

By the way, why are they buffing Wand + Sceptre implicits? And apparently without touching Staves as well? I was under the impression Staves already were underused.

Switched over from D3 about a month ago, holy check this game is awesome.
Please add me to the clan, username is the same as here: xpldngmn

They are getting buffed so they compete better with daggers, though it remains to be seen if 30 spell damage can compete with whirling blades, lol. Staves are underused other than pledge of hands, but I guess they think that being able to roll +3 gives them a purpose.

Staves are underused other than pledge of hands, but I guess they think that being able to roll +3 gives them a purpose. If that's why... then that's definitely the wrong approach. Decently geared people will want to use Daggers for Whirling Blades anyway, no matter how much Spell Damage they put on Wand / Sceptres. It'll just reduce the use of Staves even more. Was Pledge really being used recently? I guess for SRS Staves will always be best for the +3, but other than that, especially with the new implicits, I doubt they can compete well with dual wielding Wands/Sceptres.
