Unless PSU decides to play spoiler, the winner of that game is likely going to be undefeated. Easy win for the SEC then. Big10 in NCGs have been laughable of late, mainly because OSU is the only team to make it. Its terrible it had to come to this, but if it took the best team in the country to put ND down, then so be it. The better team won that game.

If AJ McCarron comes back, their offense is gonna be sick yet again. + Show Spoiler [final AP poll] + RK TEAM RECORD PTS That feel when Northwestern is the highest-ranked bowl-eligible team from the Big Ten. That feel when Florida is still in the top ten. That feel when Vanderbilt is ranked. That feel when Michigan is still ranked, with five losses, because they lost to #1, #3, #4, #8, and #25, and being Michigan helps

Let's see how many SEC teams would crack the top 5. Well according to AP poll, 2 in top 5, 5 in top 10, 7 in top 25.

I can't believe I'm going to defend ohio again, but I have higher expectations for Urban Meyer in bowls than I do Tressel.

I hate bama, but at least they are the real deal. At least three other SEC teams would have put the same hurting on ND. Maybe as many as 5. Thank god there is a playoff next year so that any kind of lucky 12-0 team like this gets their asses stomped out in the semis instead.

My friend said he's more of an all around/cover guy. He is but he's only all around good, not all around great. He's not that strong or fast.

The #4 B1G team was playing in the Rose Bowl, and played a very close game against a good Standford team. Same goes to every other B1G team, including those against SEC teams. Nebraska hung in with Georgia, and Michigan/SC was close until the very end. And that's the 5th best B1G team. Only one team got smacked, and that was a pretty bad Purdue team. I still think the conference is underrated, they really just aren't notching wins in bowl games because they are usually playing a harder schedule than anyone else. And to be blunt, While teams like Oregon and OSU are able to win their conferences, I think teams like Stanford/Wisco match up better against SEC teams just due to the style they play. SEC backers are too fast to run around them. You have to be able to run through them.

PSU was probably #4, behind Michigan. If Gardner had been our QB all season, who knows what happens. Either way, I don't think you get to leapfrog your way to #2, when our losses were to #1, 3, 4, 8, 25.
