Saw this picture on Reddit, are those kilts difficult to get? Do you mean the armor he is wearing? Its the upgraded Ursine set, I love it dyed black.

Will drain million of your hours... Its like Skyrim, Dragon age, Fallout and all rpg games. I'd say this is the ultimate RPG game ever! And I'd recommend that you don't get it if you want to have a life! Each quest has feels to have substance! Don't get sucked in! So i shouldn't get it huh? lol

i'd stand to say that witcher 3 is kind of the redefining game in "game history" that sets a bar / moment in time where every other game company has a standard to work up to. I will say that the story is not as strong as the previous DLC heart of stone, BUT i'm not saying it in a way that is taking credit away from them. In fact, heart of stone was SO WELL DONE, that i can't honestly imagine how you could top it. so it's no surprise i felt the new DLC's story was not as strong. The other thing i disliked was the fact they didn't necessarily expand the monster encounters! I play on the hardest setting, and i barely run into any monsters. I was disappointed when the majority of monsters i did run into were merely wolves, panthers, and anthropids! a bit redundant and lazy on their end but for the amount they put into the environment and story, it's hard to nit pick. I do notice that despite the increase in the amount of quest you do get, only the witcher contracts, and a few sidequest / mainquest feel like a challenge or a surprise. some are like brain dead quest where solving it takes like 2 seconds. I will say they once again outdid themselves and if you're on the fence of shelving out the money, you'd be stupid not to. and that's coming from someone who barely ever buys games. the world is more graphically vibrant, and polished. The whole game is more polished, everything feels significantly smoother when interacting with the environment. Unlike others i rarely faced bugs, so far i've only had one. i'm really loving the positive vibrant / slightly goofy atmosphere of toussaint. its a direct contrast with how gloomy and dark it always is, and it opens up the possibility of "what can i discover?" whereas before it was like everything i discover is going to be depressing. They spent alot of time slowing down the cut scenes and allowing you to digest the interactions which is truly a beauty. You get to know the characters or rather FEEL like you have a relationship with them as odd and pathetic as that may sound. I run this game on a 4k samsung and it is breath taking. I personally love gwent, it's not meant to be a real game that's supposedly competitive, it's merely supposed to be competitive against AI. it's stupidly fun to collect cards and they always hit the nail on the head when they expand it. They added a bit of everything to the game so all the small tibits that the general majority are used to, are there.

Okay, I finished the main quest, and got the "good" ending. A bit sad for Regis who'll have to go far away, but well. Not sad I had to kill Dettlaff though, seemed like he was way too stupid to deserve (and control) the immense power he has. But I wonder what was Syanna's plan in the end : Regis mentions a coup d'état, meaning she planned to take the throne once Anna Henrieta would have died. But how? I mean, assuming the very noblemen who gave no objection to her exile just let her waltz in and take the throne, she'd still have Dettlaff on her hands. The guy would ask for her loved one as he believed she was hostage, and a major clusterfuck would ensue, with Dettlaff most likely killing everyone and everything.

I feel like there are so many character build options it feels slightly overwhelming. I also decided to play on the 2nd hardest difficulty. I haven't died yet, but I feel like the inability to meditate to get HP back is gonna bite me in the end since my in game skill is still minimal and I take a ton of damage from even the smaller mobs. should I slog it through the early levels with just eating food? Or is there something about potion making I am missing. Since I havent used all 3 charges of any potions yet, do I always need to same ingredients to remake them? Or is there some sort of shortcut? Coin I take it is something I get more of later but early the cash flow seems pretty weak.

I also decided to play with a controller now since I bought one for DkS3 release. Anyway... is the lock-on distance supposed to be some kind of punishment for the player? Holy shit is it short. It pretty much only locks on when the wolf/ghoul/drowner are mid-attack animation and I frantically spam dodge roll or side-step. I now also remembered how shitty the buy/sell values are T.T the game does its utmost best to keep you fucking poor. But omfg the atmosphere, the music and the landscapes are just so so good. I'm looking forward to the whole replay and the 2 Xpacks worth of content. I've also decided to go alchemy/heavy armor this time around as in my 1st playthrough I played medium/signs (basically rosted everything to death with igni).

Also, alchemy refreshment skill for healing, every potion heals for 25%, just make ALL THE POTIONS and go days before you need to rest.

Keeping it spoiler free; especially this quest where Geralt has to show someones brother a good time is amazing. Not playing this game for a while did show though, first boss destroyed me on my first try, then I learned to avoid attacks again.

Got smacked around like in the 'A Night to Remember'-trailer. The main difference being me not using Black Blood. >.>
