I dont understand why nightelves not just straight mass giants in such a situation. They can have siege, he had all the tech needed for it and he had 2 gold mines to support it. Remind actually saw at least 5 (or was it 6?) workshops and after first tank is out, why not build giants? Or even glaves... I know alot of people hate the siege engine, as it creates plain boring games, turtle human till engines are there, kill all enemy buildings. And I think the siege engine could be nerfed with the upcoming 2016 patch (if not, TH, Yumi and Infi had way to much influence in the creation of the patch). But I feel like Remind didnt even try to find a way to deal with the turtle human and the engines. And game 3 was a joke in the other direction... tinker first???

Mgs are worse than ancient of wars/bears, which do normal damage. Bears have utility in healing and becoming useful for ground battles if human tries to fight head on. Glaive throwers will get absolutely shredded by only a few gryphons. Ne's have been fighting this strat for more than 8 years, if mg/glaive throwers were even the least bit effective as a counter, you would see them from time to time.

Looks really nice. Nice to see wc3 still alive and kicking on Twitch as well. Even higher viewership than HOTS!

I liked FoCuS' strategy but the execution just wasn't good. Deserved 0:2 loss there.

You expect them to download the old game and immediately know how to play it or something? They might vomit and faint upon seeing those dated graphics you know? not to mention all those "elitists" on their forums, just want to feedback on old wc3 with their utterly inadequate newbie knowledge and those elites simply chastise them without actually responding to their inane presumptious feedback! How can they ever enjoy the old game?

MGs are a worse from a cost efficiency standpoint. a few DoTT for ff and bears will be a better defense. Glaives would have been a bad choice vs panda. Remind played the game out really poorly combined with some questionable decisions, the DH 2nd was probably the nail in the coffin. Romantic probably knew he won the game right there when he saw it as his panda staffed out and proceeded to go for the tanks. I don't think tanks need a nerf, maybe make Chim's bile attack work versus them or something along those lines. Other races would be able to play much more abusive without the threat of tanks being a possibility.

How can they ever enjoy the old game? It's easy to be snarky about the "new generation" but a well done remake of Wc3 would have a heap of advantages over the old game that aren't related to graphics and UI. Ditching old Bnet, better hacking protection and access to the higher playerbase of SC2 are all of huge benefit. Yes WC3Arena already does some of those things but it's really only an option for those living in EU. I also don't agree with mocking upgraded graphics and UI, as if those are things we shouldn't want to experience. Those are huge things in terms of recruiting new players and providing a better experience for veterans. They shouldn't be scoffed at. AoA needs to be true to the spirit of the original game, be extremely cautious about balance changes and of course run well in terms of performance but if those conditions are met I don't see any reason for fans of the game to not be excited.
