Common etiquette says whoever placed the call originally is the one to call back.
Yes, this is how I understand it as well. I guess the reason is that the caller should continue paying for the conversation.

Denial of reality.
Its the same reason no one leaves Gotham or Metropolis like EVER no matter how many giant robots attack it.
Probably in a general sense because I doubt that the lawmakers would have specifically excluded volcanoes from laws against setting fires on public land. In practice I don't think anyone will really mind.
hey, im lookin for a music video which was played on some dota event/tourney few years ago ( could have been on 2gd stream not sure about this though)

I have the feeling that the % of people who seem to hold extremist/radical views, be it from the left or the right, seems to be higher in TL Politics' threads than in general society. Do you think it is the case, and if so, why is it the case?
I'm not sure if that's actually the case at the politics thread, but more radical people have a stronger sense of mission on average and since only the people with a sense of mission speak up and the rest often don't, the amount of posts generated by them is far larger on average in the internet.
Also anonymity allows us to express more radical thoughts than most of us would in our normal surroundings.

Yes, this. There posters in TL thread will be from people that care enough to post (despite the abysmal state of the TL politics threads), which is strongly biased to people that care about politics, which correlates with extremism.

I think you're underestimating the number of people with radical views in general society. Radical posts or posters draw more attention and generate more responses but it doesn't mean that politics threads have higher percentage of radicals than the society. It only takes one Testie to generate 5 pages about eugenics.
Some say radical posters post a lot because they care more. That might be true but we need to remember that there are a lot of people who don't care about politics but support populists because they are the loudest critics of the system. I mean "I'm a total rebel fuck the system haha" kind of people. They rarely post in politics thread but their vote is as important as anyone else's.
people also feel more free to be radical on a website in real life, because they are less threatened by real life consequences. (people thinking your a weirdo, fights, so on.)

Was this a grave mistake?
How much did you take and how much are you used to taking?
For myself, if I take a lot more chilli than I can usually handle then I get some grumbling in my stomach, then the dreaded Red Ring of Fire, then I'm done.

I'm almost entirely unused to spicy food, and I had a bit on a corn chip at the Pepper Palace, they made me sign a waiver to sample it. Sample sized portion I guess?

Sorry, had to laugh
And yeah ring of fire possible.
Honestly if you are not used to spicy and you didn't gulp down everything at once and afterwards wanted to die, you'll likely not even get that. I wouldn't worry too much.
