As a result he did not eat it, he had to accept it, and he did. As for the second question, it depends on what insect chew the leafs of the tree the wood is from between 2 and 7 month before it was cut (it depends on the shape and size, I made a few simulations to roughly calculate it given what we can see in the video). But in the general, I would say mainly yellow.

I thought that maybe a door knob fell of his house recently, and he briefly considered using that door knob that he found, but then saw that the craftmanship was poor, and that the colour didn't really fit the door (maybe it was painted shiny white, which would fit better with a grey metalic door knob), and he would be passing by the hardware store that afternoon anyway, and Pete, the owner of the the hardware store, recently got a delivery of this seasons door knobs, so he decided to leave the wooden door knob there, in case someone else less fortunate, or indeed the original owner, happened to pass by.

Your theory is bogus. The doorknob was left there by a danger eagle.

A few months ago they "broke up" for a couple of weeks when she said the long distance thing wasn't working out and they needed to move in together fast. After that they got back together and got engaged, things seemed to get better. Last weekend she was setup to meet him in Regina, he paid for her flight from Denver (not cheap). The whole day she was traveling and texting him about passing security, about what she was eating in the airport restaurants, she would update him on the details of her travels. When he was about to meet her at the airport, she texted him, saying she had fallen asleep during her layover, before her 2nd flight from Calgary to Regina, so she had to pay a $75 fee to rebook. So 6 hours later, in the middle of the night, he drives over to the airport and as he's waiting there, she texts him that she's back in Denver. Not that she's going back, but that she's actually back. Calgary -> Denver is something like a 2h30 flight, but she informs him that she's not coming when she's back in Denver. He's since been able to figure out that all of what I explained never actually happened. She never took her flight from Denver to Calgary, she seemingly never left Colorado and she just made shit up about her travels, never having planned to show up. And it's not like she scammed him, he'd met her a bunch of times before. He says that before this whole ordeal, they had seemingly been on good terms. And she suddenly decides to fuck him over like that, after days of talking about how they were excited to see each other. Knowing that she wouldn't make it to the airport in Regina, she allowed him to go there, she allowed him to believe that they would meet up there, she made him stay up all night to pick her up at an airport knowing that she would never be there. And she said she got cold feet, she doesn't know what she wants, etc, the "it's not you it's me" speech thing. And so now he's pouring his heart out at me, wondering why she did that to him. And I have no answer. What the fuck?

They're both nerds, so they've been having this long distance relationship for many years now, at least 7 years which is a recipe for disaster. It has had its ups and down, breakups and getting back together in weird circumstances, as you would expect from two undersexed people scrambling to meet up once or twice a year for a week of intense nerdy fucking. Crazy is what I said to him. But what kind of crazy is that? What makes a girl so insecure (or something) and so fucking insane that she does something like that to someone she presumably loves (or has sustained a positive relationship with)? Like as she was webbing her lies she had to know that it would just destroy him emotionally. How do you send those texts? How do you make up "I'm at Subway eating a steak sandwich" and "Fell asleep and have to pay $75 specifically" as she was presumably in Colorado doing whatever the fuck crazy people do in Colorado. What brand of crazy is this?
