Compared to someone like ahri with 880 range, or cassio you have to flash to fight, and flashing IN usually isn't that good of an idea as an ap (unless you're morg with zhonya's). If her combo just wins the fight it doesn't matter, but that's true for anything with large aoe burst, and annie isn't the only champion with it. So get good at jungling and you won't have a problem. Everyone gets games where you have retarded laners who lose their lane hard, blame anyone but themselves for losing a 1v1, and then you lose the game. It's how most of my losses go. It's not just specifically one role. Sure, I can play all the roles DECENTLY. But I'd be much more comfortable playing the role that I'm best at, because it would bring a lot more to the team if we had one good player and one meh player, rather than one meh player and one horrible player.

But her squishy and no escape ability hurts alot when it comes to high level play. Esp, most new champs have some kind of gap closer ability. Its just unfair for an old champ like Annie. Her burst was all she stands for, but champ like Ahri can output more damage at the same time has a ridiculous escape skill. Riot really needs to stop give new champs so much edge over old champs.

This is basically the mentality of every person who calls top. The proper solution is to have faith in your team mates and try and assist them if they aren't doing too well. If they are behind to the point of no return then just cut losses and try to win your other lanes. Knowing how to capitalize on the other team's mistakes also help tremendously. Example: If their jungle is trying to gank top a lot and top is losing, tell him to just hold top turret for a while and get a free dragon. Dragons also help losing lanes so that they aren't too far behind.

I don't think we're playing the same video game. You claim that Annie is strongest levels 1-3 when she has 2 short range nukes that get outranged by almost every AP carries early game abilities in the game. Kassadin, Brand, Ryze, Cassiopeia, Ahri, Ziggs, and numerous other common AP mids outrange Annie all game long. Annie really can't do much but trade with them if they get too close. Consider the fact that her damage at level 3 is pretty close to, or in some cases less than, numerous other AP mids at level 3 and the fact that due to her short range her opponents don't even need to get near her at level 3 one can easily realize why this is definitely not her strongest point in the game. If it is then she's literally the worst AP mid in the game. Also, her stun isn't even super good early. Most APs won't let you zone them with your stun, they'll just eat a QW and then attack you as you retreat because they have far superior range and in numerous cases more damage than you at level 3 too. Annie is powerful once she has 6 because she gains kill threat. She's not like weak or anything early but she definitely gets out laned by a ton of APs at early levels and can only make up for it based on the fact that at level 6 she can insta-kill most of them with a properly timed combo. She's incredibly reliant on her ult, probably the most reliant AP mid except for shit like Kassadin or w/e.

an extreme example of annie shitting on the opponent is for every Q kassadin throws at you, you get in 1 Q and 3-4 autos. That's not even considering Annie's Q is free for last hitting and she has a second damage spell that has more uptime than kass E woops, craton already mentioned AA harass, I didn't read that far back :x

I agree, but then again this isn't the worst situation a child has been born in. Hope the best for baby HS :3

The way they live isn't really fit to raise a child though, doubt the rumour is real anyways.

Judging someone's ability to raise a child based on their actions while streaming a video game seems... overly uncharitable. One could make the case that the sheer act of streaming video games for a living implies a certain lack of immaturity, however such a claim is tenuous at best.

He can get 20k viewers streaming LoL (and probably a LOT of ad revenue to go with that), but he's purposefully phased himself away from streaming and more toward handling clgaming (according to Chauster). If there's any player who's going to have a plan for life beyond playing 60+ hours a week (and more importantly, having an income once the LoL scene or CLG's abilty dies out), it's going to be Hotshot. Annie's not usually in a position to attack outside of aggroing creeps and rarely would have the defensive masteries. They're both arguing dumb points, anyway. Annie's early burst is very strong against certain matchups where she can actively abuse Q+W and autos, but weak against others who can simply deal their damage before the stun / out of range of it or tank it and still out-trade her. Trying to speak in absolutes tends to leave you looking dumb when all the exceptions get pointed out. Tangentially related: Chauster plays a very good Brand vs Annie. Haven't seen him in that matchup in a really long time, though.

Haven't seen him in that matchup in a really long time, though. It doesn't pertain specifically to Annie vs. Kass matchup, but proper creep control and making sure you have a creep advantage (or your opponent has only 1-3 left) really makes the minion aggro not that much of a factor while you're getting those free autos in though. Her lane control is compounded further by the free Qs, again. Or continually getting just 1 auto in and then backing off so the minions de-aggro is viable too. A while back I remember looking at Chauster's "pedo" page: aspd reds, armor yellow, flat ap blue, ms quints... and I just realized all this Annie stuff should go in the Annie thread. I'll be quiet now. typical hotshot go to sleep with stream on? zz

I do a mix of both. If they troll, cue up their ban and move on to the next game. You'll get the Elo back eventually.
