unless you watch LPL i've seen every game that you have, he's good, how good, not sure 1 tournament. How good he is actually doesn't have much to do with why I wouldn't pick him up witch is more of a question of relative utility which I surmise to be quite low in the given situation

Peke's highs are just as high as when he was considered a premier mid. The issue is lows have crept in and he's inconsistent to the point where he can crush anyone in mid one game, and lose to someone awful the next.
You can claim he almost always performs when it counts, but if that were truly the case and he were as clutch as his defenders want everyone to believe, then Fnatic wouldn't have gotten bounced out in groups. Take their second game against OMG. Fnatic needed to win their second game vs. OMG or they were likely going home, and Peke was a very middling 4/5/5.
Again, I want to stress I have tons of respect for xPeke the player and he's still a very good midlaner (and way better at the game than I will ever be), but he's just not the same player he was during his prime.

Peke is still top-tier, like, if you don't have Incarnati0n or Froggen on the deck, you're going with Peke. Same with sOAZ and hell, even Cyanide.
Fnatic are most hilarious team in this game, getting trashtalked for 3 years already and still going strong.

If Peke gets kicked from Fnatic then I wouldn't be so sure about his career, considering how long he played and how much wasted talent is in EU already.
Which just made me realize how much of a ticking time bomb Fnatic really is - I wouldn't be suprised if at some point 2 or 3 players decided to retire around the same time.
I don't care about Worlds anymore I just want those sweet roster changes already.
https://www.facebook.com/TSMAmazing/posts/1493663730920200 Amazing probably going back to EU.

Had he not done 1 of those 3 mistakes Fnatic would have won. On top of several other mistakes Fnatic had to make in order to lose this game. Ok peke also made a mistake when he got caught as they had 2 inhibs down. They really snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in that OMG game.

Never forget that OMG had 5 world class players and made absolutely 0 mistakes in that game. Nope, it was all FNC choking in that game...

I liked Amazing's statement. It was honest and introspective. He was able to list some valid complaints without sounding too whiny or making excuses. For being his second language, the dude drafted a pretty good goodbye letter.

Don't really understand why are pro players surprised when fans have wrong opinions about them. Not something I think is true with amazing but just baffles me.
I could be wrong here but wasn't SI also one of the first places where amazing got a lot of hype in cw?

Of course OMG also did mistakes but being 1 auto away from killing the nexus in combination with that hilarious triple fail from Soaz when he tried to backdoor is rather unique in League history. And yes I am still salty about it. Anyway my point was only how small things decided this that were mostly not within xPeke's control.

Was hard not to hype Amazing in CW, because it was one-man show for 45 minutes every game.
Kot was basically right, when he said that "If Amazing hadn't went to TSM, he would have been one of the greatest EU junglers of all time". But we'll see how it goes, if he lands in Acer *cough* MYM *cough*, i can see them being legit, considering that they have better sololaners than CW-2013 and he doesn't need to shotcall that much with mithy in team.

Does anyone else find Chaox joining Col ironic and hiliarious? Dude quits saying he was S2 MVP, only wants to join team with chance to win worlds. No team like that in NA, therefore just stream. Now joins Col that hoping for a chance to make it in LCS lawl. What a way to make yourself look like a complete ass

CLG is the #1 role swap team in the world, they should sign zero and have him replace link in mid.

You gotta keep up your face value and mentality for negotiation purposes (didn't work out so well but whatever). And now that there's an opening to go back to LCS, i don't see why he wouldn't take it since his streaming popularity has plummeted recently. Just another human struggle in life.

The fact that OMG even let the game get to that stage was more the fault of OMG than Fnatic's game to win lol. It's more Fnatic not even being able to take a win that's practically gifted to them than anything else.

Yeah but many of the things that decided the first LMQ game were within Pekes control. If he doesn't get hooked repeatedly Fnatic could well have gone through.
The comment about Peke being inconsistent these days was spot on and his worlds performance was a perfect example of it. His two Xerath games were awful, with XwX absolutely crushing him. His performance against Dade should be tempered against this. I'd say he performed above average, mainly because I weight performances in later games higher than early ones, but I wouldn't have said he "showed up" as that implies he was in form for the majority of the tournament.

If anyone wants to watch new Alex team (Alex, Impaler, Kasing, Kevin, Creaton): http://www.twitch.tv/impaler
Seems like they have to grind ranked 5 ladder to get into expansion tournament, sicne they lost Millenium seed with only 2 players left. I am not sure how these rules work though.
Watching this game seems like Steve has replaced Shaunz on SPARTA in top lane.
In other news Forgiven said on his ask.fm that the Curse dream is dead. Rip.

Well, he just basically confirmed, that they're playing in this roster. Millenium will most likely get replaced completely, with SKP getting promoted for their spot, H2K getting SKP's part of bracket and either G2 or Reason going for H2K part, at least, i would have understood it.
