i dont think gosucoaching has been bo5 for like over 2 months now, and drewbie won the last weekly; ur mistaken

Huk had no answer to this in either games.. I think MSV's builds are all very carefully crafted to hit specific timings - not much hand waving at all. This guy definitely knows his stuff, more so than almost all other players I've seen. Now, I'm not sure if his builds can/can't be improved on, but they seem to do a wonder on the existing strategies. He did the same thing vs huks 1 base as he did when huk had his third up, both against robo and templar tech
If his build was timed at all he would have been switching addons etc, he obviously knew he was going to go for after he got his expansion but you're giving him too much credit to say he's hitting timings. He wasn't even controlling his banshees he just a-moved them. Huk lost because he played terrible

Wow, Morrow, + Show Spoiler +how does this guy get up from 20 vs 34 scvs, with Emperor having tanks and banshees, while Morrow just mm. Very very resilient plays in their first game.

Huk had a chance to win the games i thought. I thought trading his army in the first game was a huge mistake. I just don't think it is ever good for a toss to trade armies. I also did not like the lack of scouting after losing the first obs. Anyway, it was an interesting set of games to watch.

Yea I don't mean the last GosuCoaching, sorry. It was one a while ago. I remember it clearly because everybody was in similar hysterics after Msv 3-0'd Qxc with a one Thor rush build.

By hitting timings, I mean he's hitting timings that he himself has aimed for, not timings targeted specifically towards Huk's build. If you'll notice, at one point in the early game of game 2 he was behind by like 8 SCVs to Huk's probes. I suspect he might've been cutting SCVs just to get that expo up. This sort of precision typically means he knows what the timings that he must hit to be safe and to be effective.

Yeah, he got the date wrong, but msv did actually 3-0 qxc in a Gosucoaching Weekly finals in the beta. It was number 4 or 5.

Heh... commentators talking about using storm before morphing archons, when the archons were clearly made from the DTs. ~_~

The date is wrong for this qualifier on TL's Tournament Tracker. I was ready to play for this tournament tomorrow night, the 15th. Sigh.

Why does Haypro keep floating 1-2k minerals? -_- The time must be getting to him.

I was a little concerned with their lack of observation. NO HT's anywhere on the map lol

I'm pretty sure they are just labeled "NA" and "EU" because of the servers they are on... It has nothing to do with limiting the players by location.
|
because its open for everyone, US qualifier meaning that its played on the US servers and the time a bit more convenient for US players. and analogous case for the EU qualifiers.
