Yesterday's broadcast has had its issues. We all saw it. There are 10+ pages of whining. There is an entirely new cast going on now. Please keep whining about issues experienced yesterday to yourself going forward in the thread and allow other people to enjoy the games. |

He waited from for a response from most likely a referee, and didn't get one, hence what he said. He left Mana with the GG. Also Tyler isn't "overrated" or "bad", he has been in a slump as of late as all the Liquid guys have been. He is also a player that refines his builds so much, that the fact that 1 FF can block a ramp versus 2 FF is game changing, as we saw in Game 2. Try to analyze what happened instead of acting like a schoolyard punk. Yes lol, VERY professional and rational behavior by Tyler. What did he expect the referee to do? Answer like "oh yeah, we were wrong, let's replay the game" or rather "oh sorry, we stated a couple of weeks ago that we are using these maps, but for you we make an exception" ? :D
Well if it was the wrong version of the map they would have redone that game, which would have been better for Tyler because he would have another go at it.
He wasn't looking for them to make an exception at all, just a clarification that the map he was playing on was the correct version.
I would have agreed with you about that not being very professional in your first post, however you claimed he was a "douchebag" and Bad Mannering Mana which he wasn't.
Also that is rational behavior, asking a referee, it's part of the referees job.
I'm sure this post will not really connect with you because you seem to be a hater/troll.

oH! and Tyler is going to be ...oh sorry its the other guy again .... xD
what it's Tyler again ? InControl....serious man ...it's Painuser and Clod rofl.. He is not saying Tyler, he is saying Taylor, which is Painusers real name. Rly ? For me it sounds like Tyler and he also apologized for naming him Tyler multiple times... Nope, he was saying Taylor, PainUser's real name. He was doing the same thing with IdrA, calling him Greg and correcting himself. I guess that just comes with being close to other players.
Ah ok that makes sense.........I was like wtf?! Incontrol is still mentally in the Tyler game...

I call my friends by their IDs in the "wrong" situations and have to correct myself all the time LOL, even if it's only in my head. I guess I'm much more of a nerd.

NASL has made changes to the maps. Actually it's more that NASL is, for some bizarre reason, using earlier versions of the maps. None of the changes originate with them; the maps seem to be the ones used in the earliest testing stages, before significant changes were made. That's correct - I actually pointed that out in an earlier post.

That game wasn't too bad. I expected much worse judging by the OP.

Try to analyze what happened instead of acting like a schoolyard punk. Pls, Tyler is most definitely overrated. Ppl just like him because of his SC1 career. What has he won in sc2 so far ? Nothing. For him to be "slumping" he first had to win something.
First off, I have had no Brood War experience and didn't know anything about LiquidNony in BW (I wish I did though ). Everything I know about his career is from SC2
I have always liked his style in SC2, he is a very safe and deliberate player, with great mechanics and amazing understanding of this game.
I understand why you would want to call him overrated because people have expected so much from him and he hasn't really delivered a major Tournament win yet.
But just because of that it doesn't mean he is overrated, his past games that he has won in other tournaments have shown how good of a player he is. Just because he doesn't take number 1 in a Tournament doesn't mean hes rated to highly.
Tyler himself said himself during state of the game, one of his fears is being that great player but never being able to deliver that major win. I think his mental game is off right now, and hopefully he can collect himself together. It is hard to come off a losing streak.
I have high hopes for him in the NASL, and the upcoming MLGs.
By the way, you can still be slumping even if you haven't won something, his games he showed today are not up to par with what level of play he is usually at, hence the "slump"
/end rant

Props to NASL for BW music!

Yet here all we get is the same boring music no matter the action. It is definitely "off". I REALLY hope they change it. If i wanted to hear sc1 music I'd, you know, watch SC1...
