I would really like them to see MKP go out first and try to take down a few players to get momentum, and then Polt can be used later.

Well, they were trying to win the match, not just one game, so they had to send someone out who could not only beat Puma, but two more players as well. They might have had a better sniper for a Terran player, but if they just lose the next game, then it doesn't do them any good. Polt was the best chance for a three kill; that's why they sent him out.

Tasteless said if Puma won his first match he would win his next ones and Artosis said Puma would beat MKP and Polt on the maps selected. I also remember two seasons ago where Tasteless said Rainbow would allkill Prime and he pretty much did. Yeah, I love it when experienced casters/players call things correctly, be it strategies or outcomes based on mentality speculation.

I dunno if they changed coach but yeah you would expect better results with such good players... ZeNEX got 2nd place to Startale, and IM got last place. What does that say? NesTea and Mvp barely played for example, it shouldn't be considered. MKP got a reverse all-kill on oGs, and got an All-Kill on the 5 man Protoss all-star team in Gisado's KOTH which is weird why he doesn't perform at all. But that's it, MKP performed well in the past, Prime has still been bad. In fact, you said they performed very well, well they got second last place at 3-5 so I don't know what you're talking about. And other than ZOTAC the only other tournament was back in the Beta, where oGs defeated Werra in the finals, and the Gisado All-Starz challenge which wasn't competed in as teams, there was 2 events, 1 was between a Season 1 All-star team led by Fruitdealer, a Season 2 all-star team led by NesTea, one by MC, and the other was between the 5 best Protoss as a team, the 5 best Terran as a team, etc. MKP did well as I mentioned earlier, and Maka did decent. But that was before Maka had his huge fall from grace, from Code S to Code B faster than anyone else. So, MKP has performed very well in past Team Leagues (but Prime still hasn't), but Puzzle has performed even better, and is 0-4 in the GSTL. I guess GSTL is just a whole different beast, bigger matches, bigger names, bigger stage, etc. And MKP isn't really that clutch or nerveless. The only display of that was when he came back versus MC, other than that, 4 Finals losses is pretty telling about his 'clutchness' : /

I've tried on three different ISP's (Verizon through my 4G cellphone, Insight Cable, and a small local DSL provider) on two different computers and can't get a single VOD on the Gom site to work, not just from the currently running tournaments but from any of them. Really wanted to catch up on the team league today while I'm off work

XvX experts don't go too far in regular tournaments, unless they get lucky PvPs to the finals like Inca.

Just that his best match-up by far is TvT.

:D So happy. I put him on my fantasy team right from the start. He's been GREAT at TvT right from the start, and all signs I saw leading up to today said he'd play and do really well. Feels good to be right. Puma hwaiting!
