And starting off with an unknown rookie? Hope Cella isn't too busy giving one on one instructions to the new recruit lately? Well everyone deserves a try in televised matches when they haven't managed to get to Code A. GSTL is perfect place to give new ones experience in the booth. But yeah..

But yeah.. i have the same view, could you imagine if DRG never got the chance to show everyone in GSTL how big of a monster he was? you could argue it is a risk for a team, but i honestly prefer it this way instead of just watching the same 4 players every single time

That said, I can't complain too much about the lineup today (in terms of names, maybe not the ordering of it). MMA needs to be spared, he's probably a mental wreck right now (has been after the ST finals), TvP is his worst matchup and losing even more games at this point would not help either him or the team. And with Alicia being such an obvious pick vs SangHo from an outsider's perspective, I imagine there was a really good reason to not play him as well. That said, I expect Ganzi and Min to be able perform on the same level in GSTL. The whole "do whatever, MMA will take care of it in the end" approach of the first two GSTLs was fun to watch and all, but it isn't healthy for the team and is not a viable option in the new format.

I don't really like Killer much, he's good but boring and unspectacular. I think Ryung trading bases with P was a bad idea. P can warp in remaining units at their other bases to defend/have an army, while all Terran units come out from the main. Main dead = no army, no important tech labs/reactors, marines late game = crap. P main dead = still have army + easy to rebuild gateways. Lesson learned = do not base trade with P.

People are allowed to be critical, and a lot of people would argue that's part of what discussion boards are for. Also, you must never have been in any fantasy league for any sport before, criticizing coaching is what people do. That said, it's pretty obvious that SlayerS is trying to get certain players (Lots, Min, GanZi) more stage experience instead of putting the best player in for a situation. It is really inarguable that Alicia would have been the best choice against SangHo. If they really wanted to win instead of experiment, they wouldn't have opened with Lots, but somebody like Ryung, saved Alicia for a P or T on a tear, and saved MMA for the ace. Dicking around with Lots, Min, and GanZi (as the ace, lol) cost them the match. But apparently they don't really want to make the playoffs this season...but that's their decision as a team.

If they really wanted to win, they would have picked: Taeja Ryung MMA Alicia But they want to send other players out to give them a shot. I'll admit that GanZi is really good however, just think they should have sent Alicia out to take out SangHo and not play Min.

Even though it's obvious troll-bait, I'll bite. It's obviously up to SlayerS which is a higher priority. Either they can make sure plenty of their players get time in the booth, or they can play the best player in any given situation. They have a pretty deep team (probably the deepest aside from IM) but it's not that deep. You can't honestly say winning is their #1 priority when they put out players like Lots, Min, and GanZi instead of Alicia or MMA can you? Ryung was the only smart play they had today, unless they just want more exposure for some of their lesser known players. If so, that's fine. But it means they won't make the playoffs. Did I spell it out well enough for you?
