NSHS will need to take out DRG before he gets 3+ kills as usual to win. I fixed it for you. NsHS has a much deeper lineup than MVP does apparently, but DongRaeGu is just such a monster. No, they clearly don't, if you look at the players MVP is much deeper, although that is tempered somewhat by only needing to field 5 players, which is about how many good players NSHS has. Looking at the average peak ELO for both teams NsHS actually comes in above MVP NsHS: 2111.16 MVP: 2098.55 Which is what happens when your 3 top players are the only ones to make it to code A or beyond. It's also what happens when you let one monstrous player carry your whole team. I'm not hating on MVP or Doctor G, but I think NsHS is a team with a lot of talent, and huge potential in the near future. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if NsHS had one or two hidden players prepared as special snipe cards, ones we haven't seen yet. Sage is a great player to have as your captain, he's talented, well mannered, and an absolute genius.
Yeah DRG has been carrying the shit out of them in the team league, but in actual skills alot of hte other mvp players have proven to be good in previous GSLs/korean weeklys / ladders.
I'd actually be very surprised if NSHS had a new snipe player. I'ts highly highly unlikely for THAT many players to have been secretly awesome all this time. Also NSHS has been playing the same players over and over again every team league. Almost to the point where I guarentee, their lineup will be Tassadar, Sage, Jjakji, Seal, then either Shuttle/Sculp.
I absolutely love NSHS, but teamleague really lets them showcase their top talent, which they have just enough of to make them constantly do very well in teamleague.
As a whole I just don't think skillwise they are as deep as some of the other teams.
Another problem is that this game is volatile enough that one player can play 2-4 games, look absolutely amazing, and really not be that spectacular of a player.
That being said, I hope NSHS wins.

IMO NSH just has a deeper lineup than DRG MVP. Apart from tails and DRG, nobody on MVP has been very consistent in being able to pick up wins. NSH just overall has more top players. Assuming you train 3 people to snipe DRG and you take him out after 2 kills, the rest of MVP will honestly be somewhat hardpressed to take out NSH

I want a Doctor G vs Sage match SO BADLY
|
Should be a good match. Not many terran for nshs, so not as advantageous for DRG. Wonder if SC can play..

I am still sad IM isn't in the semi finals . But these 2 teams earned it.
I see MVP taking it.

Last time I picked DRG to take down IM and though he did have some help from Tails he will probably wreck face once again and get at least a 3 kill. This time though I think NSHS will take it down once DRG falls to a sniper. Such depth in that team of people who perform well in team league.
DRGs combined team league record is actually 18-3... DRG gets 3kills THEN the sniper from NSH goes out and kill him?
DRG has saved MVP many times, but imo he will probably go 1-1 today. Rest of the team have to step up like Tails did last game they had.

also the ForGG to oGs thread here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=270397 nets alot of information.
He is a Terran player who really balances out oGs's style. as well as being friends with some of the oGs team and managers/coaches he's pretty known for having a theme song as well.

I predict Jjakji to be the dark horse and shines in this semifinal

Rosters could be changed after pool play, and then after each round in playoffs i believe.

MVP is gonna have a lot of problems... minimal terrans so DRG isn't able to go on a rampage.
