http://www.ripta.com/ - This is the bus schedule for the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority, will help considerably if you want to ride a bus. Westin Hotel 1 West Exhange Street Providence RI, 02903 401-598-8000 Rate: ~$199 Providence Biltmore 11 Dorrance Street Providence RI, 02903 (800) 294-7709 Rate: ~$116 Hampton Inn 58 Weybosset Street Providence, RI 02903 (401) 608-3500 Rate: ~$179 These would be the 3 hotels I recommend someone to stay at while visiting. Other Things of Note for Visiting Providence The Providence Place Mall will be roughy a 5-10 minute walk from MLG. This is your best bet if you want food without going far or getting lost (sit down restaurants are on the ground floor, fast food is on the 3rd). Also has a movie theater and an Imax 3-d place. (Or if you really hate your money and want to waste it, go to Dave and Busters.) Thayer Street/ Federal Hill are big hubs for food and other random stores if you're feeling adventurous. Johnson and Wales University and Brown University are also fairly close if for some reason you want to check out colleges during your stay here. Coffee Milk is only found in New England, and very rarely outside of Rhode Island. This is the single greatest thing about Rhode Island. Buy some. Clam Cakes are fried balls of dough mixed with Clams, they sound and look disgusting but are delicious if you get the chance to try them.

ALSO: Are spectator passes limited? If not, I think I'd like to hold out to see if someone inevitably purchased a player pass who has to sell it.

I was actually gonna hold out a day just to see what kind of people would be playing, but I was like "hey, if I'm going, why wouldn't I get a player pass?" It's an experience I won't get normally, so might as well! Glad I did

And, if anyone is staying till Monday, i suggest going to Trinities bar n grill, they have 25C Wings, which are great. O: Can you please provide the exact instructions for this? Where do we pick up the RIPTA Bus? What is the name of the stop? Keep in mind that I have never been in Providence, so I would not know what Downtown Providence looks like. How far away would this be from the Renaissance Providence? Thanks! On October 21 2011 09:47 F00LY wrote: MLG Providence Player passes sold out already? T_T I just got confirmation to go. However, for every event this year, we have sold spectator passes up until the end of the event on Sunday, meaning, they were not sold out in terms of spectators.
