The only known there is Xlord... Yeah, i don't know, a bit more patriotism would have been nice, although there is (as of now) no money involved. TLO I get, hes barely in contact with the german scene anymore, but then I dont want to speculate about his or the other good german players motives for not participating.

They're not competing because they didn't get any money from the same Tournament back in the Warcraft III days.

the usa lineup is completely not worth of a direct invite - no sheth and no idra makes the roster competely average and the canada lineup without huk ..... i dont see how the could ever be seeded directly and netherlands for example isnt ... and maaan if germany doesnt get their full roster to play it will be incredibly sad too stupid organizers made a qualifier for the national team and most of the pros didnt even play in it - worst idea ever Ukraine is going to take this playing with 1 hand lol (at least with the current lineups)

Its easy to say a team doesn't deserve an invite, but whos better that does deserve an invite instead of US and Canada teams?

Germany obviously (although they've been removed when they had a much worse line up, so i can't blame anyone for that).

Considering the number of teams we now have we have decided that having a qualifying group stage is no longer the best solution, and instead we will go directly with a groupstage featuring all teams. Eight groups of 6 teams - two groups of Americas, six of Europe. Groups draft + Show Spoiler + Group A (Americas #1) USA - SC2 Argentina Mexico - SC2 Peru Bolivia Group B (Americas #2) Canada - SC2 Brasil Chile Uruguay - SC2 Ecuador El Salvador Group C (Europe #1) Sweden - SC2 United Kingdom Romania Bulgaria Ireland - SC2 Serbia - SC2 Group D (Europe #2) Poland - SC2 Germany Hungary - SC2 Turkey Lithuania Estonia Group E (Europe #3) France Spain Denmark - SC2 Israel India - SC2 Slovenia - SC2 Group F (Europe #4) Russia - SC2 Austria Italy Portugal Croatia Moldova - SC2 Group G (Europe #5) Netherlands Switzerland - SC2 Czech Republic Belarus China Slovakia Group H (Europe #6) Ukraine Finland Norway Belgium Greece - SC2 United Arab Emirates See the team rosters at http://www.esl.eu/eu/sc2/country_championship/news/183789/ This will be the only draft we do before going live - so this is the most important time to give feedback, we really appreciate every bit of it!
