Just about 90 minutes until this begins!
TSL's gonna paint their Symbol all over FXO! :D
I really think TSL is going to win this.
Think I'll tune in though, sure to be a great match. I'd be quite surprised if we saw an all-kill.
both teams have 6 zergs.
Winner will be the one who sends out more zergs.
Trinity formation gogogo :D
This is why you don't Mech on 90% of the current Maps . You sit on 3 Bases unable to take more against the mobile Zerg while you can't do shit against the Zerg taking infinity bases and will lose to BL Infestor if you don't push before the BL's spawn.

On June 16 2012 08:36 CygnusAres wrote: Woo, Terran deathball.
The only way Mech really works as is as a push before Zerg lategame is out against anything else meh and is more the Zergs fault for playing stupid.

This is one of the slowest 2 base all-in's i've ever seen.
Not sure it's the best idea to counter attack. He wont be able to remax if TheBest army is in the middle of his hatchery.
Wow interesting situation. It's been a while since I've seen a TvZ basetrade.
Edit: Wow, that was helluva impressive play by Symbol.
Infested Terran are like.. so good. It's like fighting with 250 supply if you can throw 50 ITs.
Wow... TheBest played horrid.
Not that it's even playing fields in TvZ anymore.
Oh no Symbol I only really watched Tear enter Symbol's base, but did Symbol have spinecrawlers ready for the push?
Well, that's what happen if you let a protoss get 3 bases when they only have 3 units.
He did have spines - just not enough. The attack came right before broods should morph - and after clearing the roach/infestor (+ 5-10spines) he just popped up into the natural messing with the rally points
I think of Bobby Hill whenever I see the caster next to Kevin Knocke.
What a close game, but it's looking worse for Hyun as time passes.

Hyun lost it a long time ago imo, he should have taken the 4th a long time ago, back when the casters were talking about Hyun being able to "eventually overwhelm" Tear, it was really over for Hyun
EDIT: I'm shocked that both of them are surprised that a 3 base protoss who held a 3 base zerg off for the longest time is ahead

No hate, but am I the only one slightly annoyed by Mirhi? Not the quality or voice... More the tone... You know what I mean?

It's the nasal voice. He can't do anything about it. :<

You mean the monotone?

TSL has Symbol. No way they're losing this.
great play by polt there. Cute micro from tear, he did really really well this match. polt/leenock should be fun

Symbol already lost...

So what exactly happened to Symbol now?

Yay, Polt is going mech for once.

Sooooo many drones killed.
Wow, this feels like MLG Columbus from last year all over again with the blue flame mass drone death. :O
I don't know why Leenock is getting Banelings against Mech. No Roaches whatsoever is just going to bury him even deeper.
Edit: Looks like Lucky is sent. Should be an interesting rematch of Assembly.
On June 16 2012 10:02 PhoenixVoid wrote: Yay, Polt is going mech for once. "for once"? Polt does this 2fact blue flame into double armory build all the time. only people who don't know anything about StarCraft like to harp on this binary bio/mech meme that artosis started, in an attempt to sound as knowledgeable as dan.
Too be frank, Lucky did play that pretty well though.
holy shit, these fungals are so good.
lets go Inori!
Wow how did Lucky beat Polt there, I thought he was dead more than once. I didn't catch the beginning of leenock vs polt but it looked like Leenock was going for fast mutas and polt tricked him or caught him offguard and went BFF into mech.
Polt should've never tried to fight that army. The only thing you can do against 10+ Broodlords , Infestors with a few Banes and Corruptors is Basetrade and cross your fingers. Head-one you cannot win a fight fungal will own you. There's nothing in the Terran arsenal that can beat this in a straight up fight unless the Zerg is asleep since Fungal owns everything that potentially would counter BL's while Bl's own anything that could countert Inferstors.
Hmmm, interesting. Inori is certainly thebest + Show Spoiler + player left on TSL, but its vs. Lucky's vP...
As far as I remember, Lucky beat Inori 2-0 in some Code A seed tournament, but Inori beat Lucky 2-0 in some other minor tournament. If anything, these two are quite even, and with the team pride on stake, let's see who can win.
Well, Inori just beat + Show Spoiler +Monster at the Gygabyte event . He might be able to do it.

EDIT: from the GD Studio. Zerg's deathball < Terran's deathball ( ghosts + raven, not marines + marauders)

And how does that deal with a techswitch to say pure Lings or Ultras ? There are wierd compositions that can deal with Bl Infestor but straight up die to anything else . And btw Game 1 of what ?

Welp, looks like Inori is pretty boned. No Mothership tech, no HTs even.

and ultras + lings alone are garbage against terrans, zergs need banelings. missile seeker > banelings and infestors. In the end, everything comes down to micro. this game is not balanced if terrans just use marines to beat infestors and bls.

There's only a few Map Terran will have the economy to get to something like this though . And i don't see how Seeker Missile would own banelings or Infestors if the Zergs knows how small the splash of Seeker actually is.

Damn.. This game is driving me crazy.
This game is awful, inori totally ignoring archons...
god damn it all zerg need to do is split his brood
This game is pretty dumb TBH. Both players are just making terrible decisions. Inori should have just base traded and won 10 minutes ago.
What the hell is Lucky doing....
Lucky is throwing the game away....

Lucky plays amazing against Polt.
Falls apart in ace match.

Lucky just run everywhere on the map doing nothing gg without engaging anything
ok, that was a pure ragequit lol
haahhaha that was funny nice job TSL
HAHAHAHA Lucky gg's :D
f*** yeah TSL and Inori!

LOLOL WTF WHYYY LUCKY. That was well, one of the worst games I've seen in a while, and especially for an ace match.
What an anti-climatic, disappointing ending lol.
Sigh that felt like a waste of time....

Lucky what was that? Make giant army and never use it against anything ever, just fly around for 15 minutes.
lol Lucky had horrible decision making.
YEEEES TSL!!
Thank you Inori!
The one caster i think thats the one that use to own vile? His pretty bad just so mono toned
LOL only GSL teams and TL are left in the upper bracket.
Lucky had his BL's for so long they got families and carreers so he couldn't just ship them off to war, gg...
lol that caster sounded so fucking stoned the entire time.

If anything, you should be thanking Lucky for basically throwing that game away.
StarTale versus TSL should be a great series I think. Two powerhouse teams that rival each other pretty evenly.
Wow, Lucky, what the hell was that? Didn't you use to be really good at ZvP?
Commit man! Lord, that game could have been like fifteen minutes shorter if he had either chosen to attack Inori's base and force an engagement or just police new expansions and guard his own side of the map...
He must not play much lategame ZvP...
Now I know why Inori didn't make archons. Stalkers are more mobile for base trade. There's no way Lucky could win that. He only has a few buildings left.
Shame the results for this were spoiled weeks ago, I can't watch stuff when I know what happens grats to TSL

Why would it spoil the games for you knowing the result anyway? It was great play all round and you didn't know who won each individual match.
Edit: Just realised different person from above. Question does not apply to you.
