The first time for most tournaments is usually pretty rough.

Trust me as someone with a major stream, the income they could gain off a stream is nothing to a TV station like OGN.

Regardless I think it should be streamed, but at the same time we often struggle to get information from GSL qualifiers. I wonder if there's an underlying or cultural issue we're missing?

Hmm, well in that case, the biggest issue is in the tournament itself because so many people were expecting to have at least seen the major games in the OSL, but now that there is no stream, people are going to be disappointed in not being able to see the games.

The amount of OGN/Kespa bashing over these preliminaries is getting annoying. Hopefully there is someone down there that can provide updates. With so many games going on and players there I would imagine it would be hard to coordinate. Do prelims for code A still get streamed nowadays?

They explicitely said the transition to SC2 was primarily to become a more global broadcasting company through more globally accepted games. Besides allowing people without a progaming liscense enter the OSL, OGN hasn't done a single damn thing to establish itself outside of Korea in SC2. OGN has traditionally streamed qualifiers in BW so it'd be weird to stop now when a large international audience could be gained. I hope it is just simply technical difficulties.

Stream ALL THE THINGS. The last time GOM streamed qualifiers it was really lackluster and most players didn't even agree to have their matches streamed but now all of a sudden it's an outrage that OGN doesn't stream this. Insane amount of games and no information about any kind of stream being online for this = "I expected streams, OGN fucked up".
