First of all it's not a team league, it's a team single elim cup, IPL don't call their team tournament a league because it is not a league. Next, the name is absolutely ridiculous, I hope it's changed, how can you expect anyone to take it (or you) seriously with a name like Team League of Super Evil, let alone the players take it seriously. Why not just call it Evilguy's UK Team Challenge or something, it gets your name out there and actually sounds respectable also.
Anyway, good luck with the tournament, I hope it goes well and I hope there are more!

firstly this is meant to be fun not serious hence the ridiculousness of the name, as for the league part, yes I was mistaken there but the name shall not be changed. However if this runs well enough for me to be able to run it again then I shall change it around. I hope you can see this as the fun community thing it is meant to be.
If you wanna play but are not currently on a team, feel free to check this post out as we are signing up

You would think someone with the name "stolensheep" would have a better sense of humour.
Now I'm not extremely familiar with the UK StarCraft scene but.. won't this tournament be almost a free win for Western Wolves? I mean, I personally haven't heard of any of the other teams and I know that most of the UK stars reside on other teams (EG, dignitas). With both the UK WCS champion Ziktomini and the swedish beast SortOf in such strong form, I honestly don't see how WW can lose this tournament.
But maybe I'm just talking out of my ass. Can someone more familiar with the UK scene maybe show me where I'm wrong? (if that is indeed the case) :S

The rules state that 2 players must be from UK. We have 2 players in UK (Fargo and Ziktomini) but only Zikto has a UK passport, meaning for us to enter I will play for us with my diamond skills ^_^

that may be the case but there are also teams like BYE which is a friend team including Bling, Lau, rANDY and some other great players. all the other teams here are no slouched either and in b05 anything can happen

Ahh... I thought BYE was an empty slot, how silly of me xD. But I thought BlinG would be ineligible to play since he's on Dignitas. I guess that does make things more exciting from a viewer standpoint.
Also the OP does not specifically state the format of this tournament. Will it be Proleague-style or Winners league? I kind of assumed it would be Winners league all-kill format when I predicted WW to win it. But I'm a little confused now. :s

Thanks for the update, will it be like, one match a week played on one of those days? I'm travelling on the 12th so just wondering whether it's worth signing up.

it will likely be multiple matches played in the same night on all of those nights. Basically will keep going till it's done.
Hmm ok, I guess I'll wait for the next time, but I'll try and send some of my teammates to sign up. Thanks for the info, and good luck with the tournament.
Team oxbros is looking for another UK player. We're all from a UK university but only 2 of us have the UK nationality, and one of them is going on holidays in August so we can't field the 2 required UK players. Warning: We're all masters, but nowhere near as good as the other teams so will most likely be eliminated in week 1
Will there be a bracket up anywhere soon, and perhaps a list of the players in each team? Need to begin doing our homework on the Northern Ireland Starcraft players.
