At least try, doing that is like decreasing your match-up chances from 40% to nothing.... then again he did take one game so bleh. I (and probably him, since he decided to do it) think it actually ups his chances. He just mis-microed & didn't know Stephano's reaction to 11/11, he could have made it way closer

He said that when he was winning tournaments (such as Iron Squid), he used to specifically research opponents and prepare builds for them. He used to take notes and stuff. He says he no longer does that anymore. He did not explain why. It just seems he got lazy. MMA's decline is more than TvZ issues.

Months ago he'd play incredible Zerg players (maybe even Stephano, I don't remember specific matches) and it'd seem like he was toying with them. He'd be dropping in one place, nuking in another, running 2 hellions into a drone line elsewhere, and then fighting the main army and doing damage in every spot at once. And now we're at this, pretty disappointing. It's nothing like how Idra 6 pooled aLive. MMA had already taken a game by 11/11, and he thought that it was his best chance to win.

I am not complaining about balance, I am just really tired of ZvZ, just like how back in 2010 and 2011 people were really tired of TvT.

The reports about why SlayerS fell apart seem to indicate this too.

Both DRG and Stephano said the patches didn't help them, only the less skilled players. DRG and Stephano were ripping out throats even before the early patches not including the queen patch that takes most of the patch blame.

See the difference as soon as he left, MMA began to play at a lesser level, and combined with the SlayerS drama, there is a reason why MMA declined beyond the patches and BL/Infestor.

Highly unlikely, there is a very small pool of players currently playing on the beta, and it's not the highest caliber of players, most Code S/A players haven't even touched HotS yet, and those who have has been mostly in showmatches.

More like his coach did those things for him. ;o Should've maybe paid the guy instead of screwing him over, but ah well.
