Well I guess it would make for a decent breakout story if DMC actually won the tournament. (And then he can move on to Koreans...) Otherwise, I expect Bunny, Scarlett, and Snute to end up in the top three spots, and then Nerchio, Bly, and DMC in the bottom three. It just means that there are always new players on the rise, since he qualified and earned the spot. It's a good thing. I mean why the fuck would you want to see the same players over and over again. I guess we could keep watching the same 20 players forever, but I'm glad for every qualifier spot we have in tournaments. I wish every tournament had way more qualifier spots instead of invites, then we would see way more change in the scene. Well having an unknown player in a tournament against seasoned pros means that he might eventually be on the rise, but maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning ^^ I think the title is a bit sensationalist, but I guess that's to get viewers' attention. If it's to actually establish "the foreign hope", then I think my disagreement is pretty justified. Well, there was recently a "Who's the best European" tournament
A subset of Foreign Hope, lol.
Anyways, best of luck to all participants ^^ Hoping that Scarlett wins this one.

Bunny's on fire lately. His showings haven't been as good as they could have been since he's been losing to the players that ended up winning the tournaments/making it really far.
He's gonna wreck this.

And there will be the "32 boys 1 cup" tournament, which might just be won by a girl if Scarlett wins :D.

Well at least it's funny . Will still be awkward should Scarlett win^^.

unless blizzard comes out and officially endorses these tournaments and their titles (obviously never going to happen) i think its completely pointless to gripe about the "accuracy" of the titles compared to the function of the brackets, lol. theyre just events, its like the corny way you would promote a boxing match or something, and it's fun

Too bad this is missing players like Huk, State, Major.. great idea for a tournament and very excited for it. It'd be even better if it had a few more of the top foreigners
|
This tournament seems good. DMC gained his spot with good matches in qualifers. He didn't stole anything. We miss some good players, like Happy, Vortix or Welmu. But overall we can see Snute, Bunny and Scarlett, probably the 3 best foreign. Let's see.

I am looking forward to seeing DMC runs away with this tournament!
