Were you watching the game? The tds mostly came because of blown coverages, not because of any ticky-tack calls. This is especially true of Alabama's scoring. Blown coverages are a direct result of ticky tack rules. I saw several, meaningful, holds on Watson runs/scramble passes, and ten or more OPIs. Most importantly, the time rules and formation rules obviously are a decade behind offensive coaches. Unless they are pick plays blown coverages are just bad plays/misreads.

Ticky tack rules don't result in two people defending one receiver and leaving another one uncovered for long tds.

Last time they barely squeaked by Tennessee (2009), they won National Championship. Ironically, the coach of Tennessee that game was Lane Kiffin, who's of course in Alabama now. dang haha.

I dont really get into recruiting. My school doesnt really land big names so I just wait for some friends to tell me who the people I'm supposed to be looking out for are

Your passion is only noticeable during season. I am the same way. I don't really mind it too much, but with Reilly, I need to see how he's recruiting and if we can get the people we need in to make the season better than last.
