Yeah Michel looked stellar in the playoffs, Georgia's backfield was lit.

Jonathan Martin made a really terrible post. Like how dumb could you possibly be to post what he did.

Who else remembers the clownshow witch Hunt ESPN conducted on his behalf?

He'll chalk that up to CTE or some shit.

He played well once they got into the playoffs but his regular season was mostly counting on him doing the minimum without messing up. He only threw for 3600 yards and 21 TDs in the regular season which is pretty mediocre for someone who played the whole season in this era

As a Jags fan, this deal is fine with me. Very team friendly contract that doesn’t kill cap space and allows for Bortles to prove it while the Jags look to draft one this year or next. 18M a year with 24 guaranteed isn’t bad in this QB market at all, and people you would get for that much (Keenum, Bridgewater, etc.) are more of a sidegrade.
If they are able to use their cap space to add a few more weapons on offense (true 3rd WR, TE, replacement for Chris Ivory), it doesn’t matter who is at quarterback. Blake Bortles made it to the AFC Championship Game and they almost beat the Patriots. I’m glad they didn’t overpay him. Anyone who is an upgrade rn over Bortles is way too expensive. Also they get Allen Robinson back next year so as long as Bortles can improve from here with some confidence (something he has struggled with), it can work.

Bortles contract is first real proof I've seen of anti-Kaep collusion.
|
How though? Kaep hasn’t played in a year, and hasn’t played well in several. Bortles at this point is less of a risk than Kaep is, plus Bortles knows the system already and has the same play style as Kaep.

Im assuming it was a joke.

The Bortles extension is okay, but the Jags still need to draft a new QB.

Yes. At least keep up with the news if you want to make snide comments

No source has confirmed Luck throwing footballs yet, but yes he has been doing strength conditioning with a weighted ball. I still don’t see him playing until October or later... lol colts.
