What makes their midfield better than Kroos/Modric/Casemiro/Isco?

KDB, Sterling, Sane, KDB, Fernandhino, SIlva, Silva Most iterations of this. I dont think there is any quesiton KDB is at the moment the best ball playing midfielder in the world. and he can score. Dono about best in the world though.

Well with the results they are having I wouldn't argue otherwise. Fernandino is solid, De Bruyne playing out of his mind and Silva is the Iniesta for City.

I didn't even check but 95% sure citys immense midfield has better stats outright in a harder league. Their holding play is also detrimental for their defence where i think real lacks a bit. Finally for outright crativity and passes led to goalscoring opportunities i doubt anyone ever comes close to city this year. I love Modric myself but he's not the magician that can create something out of nothing like few years ago. Kroos is beyond overrated. Isco is nice in tempo play but rest of real lacks that right now.

Other than the fact that Madrid has been struggling to win/score against tier 2 teams in Liga when City pretty much dominated every single team in the Premier League including all the top clubs? edit: i'm a hardcore united fan and i fucking hate City for being better than us () and i support every other club going against them so far but i just can't deny the fact that they're not only playing good but dominating football... we'll see how they'll handle Spurs this weekend

He did some really nice passes and scored sweet early on in the season, but went missing alongside the whole Dortmund team later, I think. I definitely like having him in Dortmund, we'll see how it goes now that Bosz isn't around. There might be more consistent first 11 positions open now that Philipp is out with a longer injury.

No he is a consistent starter and imo one of their best players. BVB in general did not well last few games so he was not shining either. But even if it is not going well you always see him trying something, he works a lot. Only thing missing is a right foot finish. I think it was a waste that he stayed so long in Ukraine, now he does not have much time left to show his potential.

Senior executives at Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox corporation are alleged to have agreed for millions of dollars in bribes to be paid to South American soccer officials to secure major broadcast deals, according to US prosecution documents. The documents form part of the sprawling US investigation into corruption in world football, and for the first time reveal the executives’ alleged role in the scheme. The three men were named in a previously unreported court filing, which alleges they took part in a bribery-for-broadcasting-rights scheme that is detailed by the US justice department in separate documents that shield the identities of certain organizations and individuals. US prosecutors say that the multimillion-dollar payments helped an offshore partnership involving Fox – T&T Sports Marketing Limited – obtain the lucrative rights to televise South America’s premier club competition, the Copa Libertadores, which is watched by over a billion football fans worldwide and has launched the careers of numerous international stars including Pelé and Neymar. Neither Fox nor any of the identified executives have been charged by US authorities. Fox Sports said in a statement that it “did not participate in any wrongdoing”, but declined to answer a series of detailed questions submitted by the Guardian. The company and the three executives have been accused of involvement in bribery via an ongoing civil case brought against Fox and others by a rival broadcaster, Gol TV, which is based in Florida. The company claims to have unfairly lost out on media rights due to the alleged kickbacks. Fox Sports said it was “vigorously defending” the complaint. However, the criminal trial of three former South American soccer chiefs in New York , as well as hundreds of pages of court documents connected to the civil case, company records and contracts reviewed by the Guardian, has shed new light on the Fox executives’ alleged role in the scheme. Torneos y Competencias, the Argentinian media company that partnered with Fox through T&T, is also being sued in the separate civil case. But Torneos has already admitted wrongdoing for its part in the scandal as part of the criminal investigation, and has agreed to pay US authorities a large fine in order to avoid prosecution. As part of this written deal, known as a “deferred prosecution agreement”, Fox’s former business partner has signed off on a series of “agreed facts” between the company and the US government, which the parties agreed are accurate for the purposes of the prosecution. These facts include anonymous references to individuals allegedly involved in the scheme. Source

The president of the Brazilian Football Confederation is in the wanted list of Interpol. Corruption runs like crazy in South America, not only in football, as the rest of the world is probably aware of. I know 99% of the people here don't care about this tournament, but 2017 FIFA's Club World Cup finalists are decided: Grêmio x Real Madrid. The game will be played this Saturday, 2017/12/16, 17:00 GMT. Sorry for being annoying with this subject, but I'm really proud of my team to be able to decide a title against a gigantic European club! I'm aware that here on TL the audience is composed majorly by fans of other European giants and are way too used to big matches to the point that playing vs Real is not THAT special.
