Im pretty sure it will work. Basically the "base.SC2Assets" holds everything, and the asset files and like was used as overwrite files for the "base.SC2Assets" without actually changing the file. After patch 1.4.2 it seems those files no longer overwrites as intended. NOTE: REMEMBER TO BACKUP THE 2.5GB "base.SC2Assets" before you do this. I had to overwrite the files for my Terran UI for Zerg mod as well to make it work. Anyway, hope it helps some of you.

I think you are better off by only using base.SC2Assets. The reason I didn't say that was for people only trying to fix the zergling problem. I really like your initiative and i think it is a really great idea! :D I myself used this "mod" for some time and i really think its cool. But the other day i had an idea, like, would it be possible to change the default colour of friend / ally when using that toggle? I personally like the consistency in 1v1 always having the same colours every game, but i really dont like green/red is this possible? If it is, how hard would it be to make? It would be fun with a lot of cool variations like orange vs blue, red vs blue, green vs yellow, purple vs orange, black vs white ect ect. Thanks a lot for your efforts so far!

What he is doing has nothing to do with the actual colour the game assigns, he is only adjusting the masks that controls where the colour is shown on the different textures. Achieving what you are after is a completely different type of mod which im not sure is even possible without actually knowing how things are put together. The .dds files that controls the textures are strait forward as they are just a map with an alpha channel, but nothing to do with the colour options themselves.

I use the Strong Colors Team mod since the first release and I never have problem until now so. Actually, the only way I find it's to copy the mod in the the LibertyMulti.SC2Mod folder....and in the Liberty.SC2Mod folder too ! If I just put it in the LibertyMulti.SC2Mod folder as explain in the OP, the mod just don't work. So, hope a vid yep.
