PS: Also make sure to conclude contracts with your players. I feel the TSL Puma situation is a more grave situation for Korean SC2 teams as a whole then the Slayers Eve incident.

They humiliated her. They wrote profanities and sexist remarks non-stop... There are things that they are doing that you couldn't even imagine." WTF?!?!!? THEY DID THAT?!?!! Okay now I'm mad too. >:[

Korean pop stars are known to suicide because of these kinds of people, thus it is technically driving someone...to die. (and they know it)

Someone came into the initial thread and explained how intensive and unrelenting insults over the Internet have caused great depression and even suicide over in Korea. Others came in and quoted someone, though I'm not sure who it is now, from their Twitter that tried to explain you were only going after those who were specifically targeting Slayers_Eve sexually. You know, with the pornographic photoshops and stuff. I'm glad you repeated everything here though. Maybe people will actually believe it or understand it when you say it. Though there was one point in your post that I was sad about. It said something like "I was hurt that even those on TL jumped to conclusions without knowing the whole story." That happens all the time in the foreigner scene. People grab a hold of a news story and without looking at sources or even waiting for a second side of the story they lash out and insult or judge those involved. It's just how it goes here. Then, when they hear the other side of the story, they usually see everything more clearly. So don't take everything in that thread that might have said you were overreacting personally. Now that everyone has your side, there should be more reasoned responses. My suggestion for everyone that has a news worthy story in the internet scene, not just you or Slayers the team, is to just ignore what is being said in the threads until your story is out there for people to see. Because the initial responses will never be relevant to the issue when they don't have the second half of the information, your information, to take in. Good luck with those cases, Slayers_Jessica! Good luck Slayers_Eve and the rest of the team in their games!

EDIT: SlayerS, you will always have my support!

I was really happy and supportive of this Eve player making Slayers, but now knowing that she's only in Diamond league, I'm not so sure I am anymore. I know there are Masters levels female players. We've been having all female tournaments in the foreign scene for a while. If you wanted to recruit a female player, why not recruit one of the ones who has already demonstrated that they're playing at that level and done all that work? I don't know all the ins and outs of how dedicated people are and how much potential they have and etc, and I'm sure Eve will do better than the expectations of most, and more power to her. But this entire thing is starting to reak of a PR campaign to me, and one that is not getting the sort of PR that it thought it would. And recruiting a female player for PR is not advancing women in Starcraft as much as it is closet sexism. I dunno. Maybe I am reading into this too much. But this entire ordeal seems dumb to me, and I wish it would stop being such a gigantic thing, for the sake of everybody.

In regards to Eve, people seem to be quick to forget that you dont get a free pass into SlayerS and everyone thats in has earned their keep. While I have not seen Eve play, I am certain you saw something worthwhile in her. That said, I expect one month training with boxer would be plenty for her to be in masters. Four months training with the team and she'll be in GM

But I also don't support the people who are saying anything worse than what I just said, nor do I support any of the supposed hatred and pictures which I haven't seen.

this is no censorship. censorship is when a government blocks expression. this is a situation where expression already happened and the expression in itself is a crime as it is defamation. you want freedom ? then you have to respect the rights of other people as well and words can be just as harmful as any other actions.
