People can change and people make mistakes, no matter how big or small. But to say LS = Dimaga = F91 = Testie = TT1 is bullshit
Well the bigger problem for LastShadow is that he's arrogant. Notice how in the OP he's careful to point out that other players on the team are waiting for his decision to make theirs. That kind of stuff characterizes him imo

It obviously has nothing to do with the fact that they lived together for several months and are good friends, no its all about Nick being arrogant. I'm not saying he isn't (a lot of sc2 pros are quite arrogant) its just that is an awful awful example.

Oasis and the others all said to me "If you leave, we leave." I was GG.net's branch to the Koreans, since we all lived together and were all extremely close, especially me/oasis (who was the one who stayed pending my decision). -__-;

Maybe you're right, but at the very least that perception is a bigger problem imo

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect people to NOT be effing retards and regard evidence and facts more than sensational drama. If they want to think of someone as an arrogant douche, they can go read a gossip magazine.
As anyone who was best friends with their roommate in college can tell you, living together for months or years breeds some deep deep loyalty.

Nah its just a bad example, LS is arrogant to a degree but says quite a bit on stream how bad he is at the game
+ Show Spoiler + A better example of the whole arrogance thing would be when he was reviewing a replay yesterday and said that his 2x speed was more like 8x cos of how fast he is

A player leaves his team along with his other teammates and he gets flak for his past cheating history? People DO change , whether for the better or worse.
anyway hope LS gets picked up by another rising team like QxG.
|
Yeah agreed with kurrysauce. Kid made some mistakes but he's proven himself over and over again.Fuck the haters thanks shadow!
|
I can't see any team with a brand to protect pick him up any time soon. It will probably be a smaller/newer team which can't afford to be picky.
|
I don't think he should be criticized for his record. Everyone does stupid things in their teens that they would be ashamed off, dosen't mean they wouldn't grow out of it. So far, he looks fine and in his interview, he looks really determined as well as being a nice guy.
|
He was just 14 when it happened and he shows so much potential and work ethic now. Really hoping he can step it up to the big leagues - next Jaedong anyone?
|
Nick I hope your hand is feeling better I was really looking forward to you playing in Providence...
You will continue living in the gom house and stay in Korea yes ?

Dude so many people cheated in brood war. I've met him and he's a really nice guy, he's changed a lot. You should check out his vlogs to get a better understanding of him.

Why are they all leaving their teams. So much team shuffling and no name change haha

My last comment about this. Everyone did stupid shit when they were 14. Its how you take those experiences and motivate yourself to define who you really are
Peace

he's still arrogant in some ways or "bm" in my opinion, and ppl keep saying he's not cheating anymore / we forgive him that he cheated bla bla bla - i am with them, everyone can make mistakes, thats why we are human and not robots.

Could you all please, please stop the fucking cheating debate. It's so full of shit and hypocrisy and it gets brought up every. single. goddamn time TT1/LS are being mentioned in any thread on reddit or TL (but everyone loves DIMAGA and HayprO). There is a reason why these guys got absolution from TL, it's so people like you can lay their pitchforks to rest and say, it's ok boys, you have your second chance.
Go and complain about Deezer if you want to bash a player or do some other useful thing FFS. This makes me so mad...
