Also Team "TaeJa Take the Wheel" has been betrayed by the captain . At least my other picks were decent enough to float to a not-bad rank.

Might trade hon_sin for jaedong on main team. With Taeja injured Jaedong is likely to see more play. Although with Stephano and Revival doing well I'm not sure who'd see more play. I expect Revival Hero Stephano core with JYP/Jaedong rounding it out. No good terrans to play on EGTL as both Puma and Thorzain are relatively weak at the moment. I guess it depends on the starting line up next week. I'm glad to see both Team 8 and Woongjin kicking ass. Woongjin was definitely by far the favorate in all kill format, I see them going 7-0 this round. Team 8 is less reliant on Cure than I expected and Baby is certainly failing pretty hard. Very surprising to see Terminator and Jaehoon doing so well.

We have what, 3 trade windows for 28 series of BO7. The last time we did fantasy GSTL, we had 30series of BO7 spanning 10 weeks. thats 9 trade windows. That's triple the trade opportunities for essentially the same number of games. Look at my trades in GSTL (http://www.teamliquid.net/fantasy/gstl/Team.php?team=mrbamboo&r=1) I made 17 trades netting a gain of 41 points after trade tax. That's less than 3 points gain per trade. But making consistently good decision over a long period of time helps mitigate short term risks/variance. For proleague I doubt I'd make more than 4 trades total, nearly all of which is dictated by which EGTL player will be out of town or sick. For one there is 1/3 the trade windows, for two, having a lot more matches between trade period meaning you are not angling for a specific scenario, and that risk is diluted by the other 10 matches going on this week that could make just as many FPL points and negate your gain for the trade. More frequent trades also mean that the value of each player only change a little bit each time, and you get to use that new information to make more decisions and you are not punished as severely for any single decision. FPL always requires The thing about trading is that people won't trade low-value picks unless they're absolutely not playing. So there wasn't really much of a reason to trade out Hydra this week. However, there was plenty of reasoning to trade into Hydra, but only 27 people took the opportunity. What's true is that the best possible team with trades nets far more points than the best possible team with no trades, even with the -9 trade tax. The people who traded for Hydra this week will hit the jackpot if they trade him for another player who will also break out, thus getting more points than a single static player ever could.

2st Week Review Team : SK Telecom T1 (2p) Things look grim for SKT, they understandably lost against the better Stars team but also failed against Samsung Khan. Their only win comes from beating STX, arguably the worse team this round. The trading possibility are gone and I'm stuck with this mediocre team for the rest of round. I have made some small mistakes in my choice before but choosing SKT over WJS was a bigger one. Next week they face CJ and Khan, it's up to them to step up. Their failure is entirely Rain's responsibility and he better step up before people view him as another 1 hit wonder like jjakji and Seed before him. Captain : sOs (7p) - sOs didn't get that much play time this week with the all-kill of free but he is assuming the ace position right now until Soulkey gets his shit together. I expect the latter to start next week probably on Arkanoid against STX. Nonetheless sOs got me 7p which is the most of all my players, he is definitely my ace. Players :

The people who traded for Hydra this week will hit the jackpot if they trade him for another player who will also break out, thus getting more points than a single static player ever could. The thing about trading is that you have to trade a player that will most likely get at least several points per week, versus an unknown that may or may not do better in the long run. I dare you to tell me that I should have traded any of my picks at that time. How do you predict free gets an all-kill? You can't, so you can't be in a position to tell people to trade then for the absolute best gain because the volatility of trading is way too high when you have a significantly strong team already. The only time trading works well (in terms of high probability of profit) is if I see a team like STX facing KT and SKT in the first round, and go, gee, STX is going to get rolled, and then stack my anti-team with STX players, or something like, Hydra doing massively well for a low point value when I have other players like Taeja who's been underperforming due to his wrist injury. Of course you can theoretically say, trading is a good option, but how do you expect me to justify trading away Revival for free in the middle of nowhere? I'm suppose to go, free seems like he'll all-kill KT, let's do it! The only thing I regret is not taking Jaehoon in place of Revival, because Jaehoon, Baby and Speed are the centerpieces of Team 8, which is my main team, and when sold at 2 points at the beginning of the season was hugely more profitable than any others, and tying for WJS.

Speed -> Jaehoon / both are fantastic picks, but usually Hoon costs more and is an ace, so he should be used a bit more / Free -> Rain / Free did amazazazing job for me up to now, can't believe I'm in the position to trade him for the best player / anti: HerO -> Stephano / phew, indeed, by a scratch, I'm still able to make this trade; though Stephano can destroy me too /

SoO for Stephano: SoO scored me -8 points last week so I had to get rid of him in case he kept the form. "Only" -5 points from Stephano this week. This weeks main trades Bong[S.G] for Huk: Huk did well in Up- and Down matches, so maybe he'll get playtime in ProLeague. Don't see Bong playing anytime soon. Major for BBatta: BBatta beat Stephano this time and will most likely earn me more points than Major.

Anti-team I'm stuck with RorO, I was trying to risk this week to get his price lower so I could make a good trade but at this point, like week before, there is no one who'd win less. Well hope my horses take the Winners League.

About Stephano, since he doesn't go to IEM anymore, he'll be able to play in proleague I guess, so it might be a good choice not to trade him. Since he lost to a rookie he'll be hungry for kills, improving his ZvZ for real again, so as long as he plays he should do well!
