I'm not saying that. I'm rather saying that it's usually the length of the speed run video, not the ingame timer which counts towards the total time. So if you're idling with the solar lance for 3 minutes, it makes your total time 3 minutes less. That would essentially require you to be quick and precise with it.

this really helped me finish the host mastery achievement thank you

Everyones computer loads at different speeds. So to make it fair for everyone the ingame clock is what is important.

It's debatable though, whether it should count or not. It does pause the game timer.

We've just gone by in-game time for the previous 2 expansions, The Spear of Adun seems to be a unique case in that it actually pauses the game but I would still argue the same metric should be used as the other games.
You could theoretically take 3 minutes to aim your abilities with the spear but the vast majority of speedrunners try not to make their run look like shit which should be enough incentive not to do that.

Jesus, these strats look so well thought out and executed. I especially like your idea of taking multiple objectives at once using time freeze in these multiple objective missions. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I have not had time to begin laddering yet because all time has been spent on the campaign.

I remember this is a guy who beat most WoL brutal campaign with absolute 0 lost unit and clear all enemy units on each map (include Zero Hour, Welcome to Jungle, the Dig)

These are pretty entertaining to watch and see how strategies evolve and shift to shave off seconds here and there. Keep them coming! GL on the speed-run records, if there's any competition out there yet.

I hope I have the WR on all of these that I have done. I have not seen anyone post a video with a faster time.
