But yeah reds should be the way to go, that one Rosewill in newegg with reds should be about 100$

Ok guys I'm a tough pickle and I need you assistance. Christmas is coming up and I NEED to buy a Mechanical keyboard, I"m currently using the abs 1 which uses the black alps switches. They are very tough switches with the actuation point being at the top, now I like the keyboard but I would like to not feel like my fingers bones are trying to pierce my skin every time I try to push down a key.
Now, I was wondering what the best transition would be considering I'm coming from such a stiff keyboard.

Is www.tankguys.com down for anyone else. I cannot find the Ducky OCN's anywhere else. Also any opinions on that vs the Das Keyboard Silent.
|
has anyone ever heard of the Flashget G200 http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=9880122158 I am based in Shanghai China and a lot of the other brands listed above are gona be pretty hard to come by. This one is only about 50usd and has cherry red or brown switches.

You can get a regular ducky T_T;;; and ducky vs Das to me is questionable, seeing as you spend like $40 more for das, but really there the same quality builds for me. At least they feel like the same quality.

never heard of them, do they ship internationally and do they have good international shipping rates? I would be interested, it looks like a nice ergonomic board. Would be interesting to see if anyone on geekhack has heard about these.
|
Also I seem to get swollen/bruised knuckles from typing/gaming for a long period of time. I do not have the most ergonomically setup desk but what kind of switches should I be getting to help with this.

Apparently the geekhack guys came up with a great Teamliquid custom keycap design for Cherry MX keyboards but Teamliquid told them to stop making them.
If Teamliquid were to make those keycaps available through the Teamliquid Store, would there be many mechanical keyboard users here interested in buying it?
I believe the keycap was sized for the Esc and F1-12 row of keys.

I would definitely buy some TL caps for my das mech keyboard!

I think everyone would buy those keycaps *.* simply fabulous.
|
I wouldn't o_o Am I really the only person who prefers normal black keycaps? =P
I especially can't stand using a keyboard with something like differently colored WASD keys or something like that.
Even so those keycaps still look pretty nice and would probably fit as ESC key, but I still wouldn't spend so much money for that

one doesn't have the numpad
