I looked at benchmarks, and pure gaming wise there isn't any FPS performance increase between the two CPU's, but I was wondering if the 3770k would provide improved streaming performance.

I'm using OBS. Thanks! | ||

I'm using OBS. Thanks! You shouldn't really streeam with less than 30 fps. Too choppy. Going by their own estimate system: http://obsproject.com/estimator CPU Advice Set FPS to 30 Game Advice Set quality to 7 or 8 Try lowering your quality if you experience excessive pixellation during scrolling / motion Use game capture if possible for maximum performance. Use window capture with Aero enabled if game capture is unavailable. Network Advice Due to your low upload speed, aim for a low resolution such as 480p Considering lowering your buffer size and/or bitrate if you experience in-game latency Recommended max bitrate: 255 Recommended buffer size: 153 Which is too low. So I would wait for you to get some better connection. At least 3mbit.

.3 Mb/s Up Pretty hopeless. The game will use like half of that

I'm using OBS. Thanks! Pretty hopeless. I have .5 Mbit/s up and streaming at 360p at 20 fps with 420 kbps up (+ 96 kbps audio) with no buffer (because even using a buffer if you're streaming at your bandwidth limit is fucking retarded) is usable, but with .3 Mbit you'd go even lower which doesn't make much sense. And streaming while playing online with those numbers is of course completely impossible.

"Could not access the specified channel or stream key. This could be because the key/channel is invalid,or because the server still thinks you are logged in." I don' understand what the problem is, I was streaming fine yesterday. The only thing I can think of is that I updated my Steam client yesterday. Any suggestions?
