Basicly what they've done is take away zergs ability to place hydra all around a gass expo to protect it from drops from toss. Now they have ground entrances that a reaver can fire down to clear out the way. For zerg to get the desperately needed gas expo they have to establish a ground force, And protect there main from sair/reaver?... I personaly think they made it even harder for zerg, to win, although living a little longer will be easy. Char is very improved as a zerg I don't mind 3 hat/4 hat strats but I have no clue how toss can react towards the normal mass hydra/hydradrop/muta that is common without a very early second gas... and it's not like this is a map that toss has the ability to rush. So for ZvT I like it, for ZvP as zerg I like it, but toss is doomed (?) vs z. Jungle zvt is more balanced I think, but how can T beat P. The only possiblity for a powerfull midgame is a 1 factory fast expo to isle then golies to protect. I think T is gone vs toss. And temple just looks like a further cross between wcgtemple and neo. | ||

Valhalla might be more balanced now, though i dont see why he made the mineral only expansion on highground. only terrans will use them until later in the game. And the new middle just sucks ass. You will never be able to defend it other than either using so many units that you will lack them everywhere else or you are z and build a nydus which makes it kinda imbalanced. Also the ways around the middle are damn small now and you can shoot armies walking around there from your main with almost any ranged unit. jungle story sucks even more now. tvp was almost balanced but now p owns t there and p vs z is as hard as it was before. at least gas at the natural would be necessary to make this a little more balanced char is the worst of all. tvp is almost impossible now, same goes for pvz. tvz might be ok, reminds me of nostalgia. but probably favouring terran as it is easy to defend the middle and take lots of expansions. | ||
