The past Dream Arena were held in the convention center itself, a huge theater.
And there were rumors for years about "when" dreamhack would be able to step it up and move its arena to the big ass ice hockey stadium next door. Well apparently its DH Winter 2011. |

Wow! Really impressive arena, and 400.000 SEK (while not quite as much as 400.000 NOK  ) is pretty damn impressive. I believe 400.000 SEK is about 60k dollars, which is almost (or slightly more?) than GSL Code S finals. |

| THIS IS SICK!!! Can't believe dreamhack is getting so awesome like this!?! Will definitely be full with 4k+ seats. Dreamhack summer 2011 had over 4k people in queue to get in to the dreamarena extreme which was the last arena who didnt fill more than about a 1,1k. DreamHack<3 You'll always be the best for me! |
