Do what i do at school, download netscape or mozilla = GG all
or theres always qpclan.org , wgtour.com ,
|
I Don't think that will work but I might try it not for sure. Thing is I want to get on PgTour becuase I am a Admin of that site and I was helping out when I had breaks or free time here at work. Now I can not get on it at all. So I need to find a site so that I can by pass it or something. qpclan.org is blocked to wgtour is not though. But still need to get on pgtour lol. I thought there was some sites u can go to that would let u type the url so u could bypass the surfcontrol thing.

Just use google and look for some proxies.

Yeah, get a proxy list from google and go into your internet settings and set it so it uses the proxy. You should then be able to log in and do your admin work from work.
I also recommend that if it isn't your personal work computer, download an alternate internet browser such as mozilla and then change settings in that browser for a proxy, that way other users can use internet explorer without the proxy and not change a single setting.

Do a networksolutions.com whois on the sites and then try connecting using the IP address.
For instance: http://66.235.184.73/ for tl.net

whats that trick where you type in some kind of code/ ip address or something to get through those protection programs. such as typing 345.7.48.124.(random numbers) and you get www.yahoo.com

Theres always remote desktop, surf the web remotely connected to your pc at home.
|
make yourself your own redirecting domain like www.dot.tk and just use that. the surfcontrol will not detect the redirecting i do it at school for any game site when im bored.
|
i've seen the backend of surf control before, they can see every ip you visit over port 80, total network filter. The server filters html for keywords and updates itself with a master list of sites and criteria. If they are specifically targetting you, they will be able to see what youre doing all day long. The beauty of remote desktop is that it uses its own transmission protocol which surf control cannot see. Although their firewall easily could.

Was looking around and looked what I Found lol http://www.securiteam.com/windowsntfocus/5DP0N0U3PO.html
We already wrote about vulnerabilities in SurfControl products that enable users to bypass its URL filtering mechanism. Now a new method was found to enter URLs in such a way that bypasses SurfControl for MS Proxy. Credit: The information has been provided by Franklin Witter and Sadie, Ewan. Details Vulnerable systems: SurfControl for MS Proxy version 3.0.2.
The tested configuration: We have set up our rules to deny access to anyone attempting to reach sites classified as Adult/Sexually Explicit, Hacking, etc. That would mean that anyone trying to reach www.blockedsite.com would normally be denied access to the site.
The workaround: 1. First, do an nslookup on www.blockedsite.com to get the IP address of the site -- xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 2. Next, convert each octet to an octal number using the windows calculator -- yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy 3. Insert eight (8) leading zeros in the first and third octets and seven (7) leading zeros in the second and fourth octets -- 00000000yyy.0000000yyy.00000000yyy.0000000yyy 4. Type the modified octets into your browser's address bar and, viola!, your are successfully bypassing the SurfControl filter.
Vendor: SurfControl was notified about this issue.
Other ways to bypass URL filtering: Other variations on this method: - Using: 0yyy.0yyy.0yyy.0yyy - Turning the whole thing into binary, removing the dots, and reconverting to decimal/hex - Convert the IP octets into hex using 0xnnn representation.

You can also use a translator to get around it (I.e. babllfish/google translator). Or something like proxify.com -- although they've probably blocked most of those... But they won't block babelfish or google translator :D.
