What are you doing for workouts? What are you doing for running?
There is a such thing as doing too much, but you didn't describe your workouts so I can't actually tell if you're doing too much.
Also, scale does not mean much because your body can be adding muscle and losing fat and your weight stays the same. The mirror and how your clothes fit is a much better representation of improving body composition in general.
If anything, lift heavy weights and cut out running. Also, you probably need to eat more protein as well
whats wrong with running? i cant realy tell what im doing there since i dont know all those terms, but its a program made by profesional trainer in the gym so i doubt its bad.

1. There's nothing wrong with running itself. But there is such a thing as doing too much where the body is overloaded with stresses so it hangs onto fat because fat is a good supply of energy.
It's just like when people try to starve themselves they start to get skinny-fat.
2. Also, professional trainers vary with their quality so I would not necessarily say your program is good.
We can't really help you if you're not gonna post what you eat and what your programs are though so that's all there is to it.
3. If you are getting results with mirror/clothes then you're likely doing fine. Scale isn't very good indicator anyway so ditch it

So I arived at the gym where Epic Squat Girl was wearing the kind of dress that turns mens heads and makes the elderly out of shape women tut and shake their head in jealously. Anyways, we walk to the pool together, at the start she gave me one of those 'jesus you're cute' kind of smiles where the girl tilts her head and her eyes shoot sparkly stars at you, so I put my arm around her within 2 minutes. I get rewarded with another smile. Score!
So we arive at the pool, I pay for the tickets, I put down the back and she's already ditched the dress and heels somehow. Oh yeah, it was like 30 degrees downhill to the pool for 2 miles and she puts on high heels. Superdrool. Anyways, her boobs really are as fantastically fake as I thought, and she looks stunning. Can't you book him for an hour or two? Do the workout with him, show him your nutrition. For me TLHF was all I needed to get in shape and I feel like a lot of people are very knowledgable on health and fitness here, but can't really compete with actual professionals. Give it a shot? And post what you're doing, haha.

Edit: In contrast to above-post's video, I for myself, am grateful that I have internet, that I came to TL.net, and that someone decided to do the TL H&F Initiative in 2010. That thread completely changed my life in the spawn of 10 months. Have probably a week left of working on this damn cross country course. Wow this is miserable - especially after yesterday, I can barely pick my legs up right now. Feels good though, I'm liking the push/pull split.
Finally got one of my "nutrition major" friends to start accepting that saturated fat isn't bad. Now he's asking me for some of the studies I'd pulled up while we were living together... But I've lost them =/. Time to go searching through the depths of pubmed!

Guys thank you so much for all the advice. I feel like I'm getting so much closer to doing this right.
My story so far is me coming up with a terrible diet that just does nothing but starve me, you guys fixed that up, I was still doing exercises that were very inadequate for building muscle and burning calories, you guys told me about HIIT and barbels.
I just did a bit of HIIT for the first time in years and it feels just "right". I did that sprinting thing where you would go all out for 30 sec, jog for a min and sprint again for 5 sets (just shy of 8 =[ ) before I couldn't go any further. When I had that feeling of not being able to walk properly I knew that I hit the jackpot cause after my routine of running for 30 min for months eventually I didn't feel like that helped me at all, but doing HIIT stuff really feels like the real deal.
I read over some more advice and it seems like I just have no option but to invest in a barbel, bodyweight training seems like it'll take way too long before I get any great results. Plus those exercises with barbels look so much simpler and quicker to do.
So I am now eating the right way, burning calories the right way, and after I buy that barbel I'll be building muscle the right way. Anything else I'm missing?
How many calories should i eat a day? My goal is to lose weight and i currently weigh 137lbs. I'm currently getting around 1000 calories a day. i'm plenty fat so i'm not too worried about large calorie deficits.
