It's not a balance issue, people just like to play Terran. I didn't see anyone complaining about it when Nestea won the whole thing last season. Gom has been trying to change to maps that don't favor Terran. And people have most definitely been complaining about all the TvT in GSL/MLG for a LOOOOONNNG time now.

The moment one person misses a single drop *BAM* their mineral line is gone. Not just a bit of it, the whole freakin' thing. It is a balance issue, because it gets in the way of skill deciding games by introducing a luck element. You could be doing everything possible to scout and you mightn't see a drop because your unit patrolled just out of sight range for a split-second or something. TvT... not for me. At least ZvZ and PvP are over quickly. EDIT: This was more a reply to that general conversation than the quoted post. D'oh! Yeah, I agree. Unfortunately, the game is pretty much decided from there, so there's no real point in watching the rest of the game. If it's TvT, though, comebacks are more likely, I guess.

Actually this is an important point. Playing Protoss like Zerg (counter attack and mass expand) seemed to work quite decently. The warp prism worked wonders too in that toss can immediately reinforce either the counter attack or his defense. I wonder how it would do with either a probe for cannons or dt tech to get some buildings.

I actually wasn't even a big fan of Huk (or Liquid, tbh), but even I feel a little bitter towards Huk and especially EG. I know this makes no sense at all; Huk is a good guy with a good heart, and EG went about this in a decent way. But still, I feel bitter. It's kind of like seeing your parents gets divorced. You know it's good for the parties involved, but you can't help but feel bitter at them for letting it escalate so far.

It was already almost guaranteed to be an underwhelming finals even before the season started. Just by looking at the brackets, you'll see that pretty much every champion worthy players; (Nestea, MVP, MC, Polt, MMA, Bomber) are in the top half of the groups (A-D). I don't see anyone on the other side of the bracket having any chance in a Bo7 against any of these guys cept MAYBE Losira or Puzzle. edit: imo GOM needs to seed the top 8 according to their GSL points instead of the previous season's top 8, as being the bottom half of the top 8 just simply means you got out of your group stage by winning two Bo1, then winning one set of Bo3 in ro16. It could be sheer luck most of the time so it's definitely less meaningful than the top 8 in GSL points.

Apparently you don't realize that Polt and MMA are on opposite sides of the bracket as Nestea, MVP.

This isn't like your parents getting divorced, because they're not getting paid to do so. Ever watch other major sports before like NBA, NFL, MLB, etc etc... players switch teams all the time because they gets paid more or are given a chance to win a championship. If anything we should be glad this is happening as it shows E-Sport is going in the right direction in term of growing financially.
