I thought inertia would cancel out any kind of "benefit" being on a moving train would give. Not a physics expert, but I'd think the longer he remains in suspension the lesser the effect of inertia since the train will keep moving at the same speed--or faster if the operator hits an awesome timing and speeds milliseconds after the guy jumped--while his speed (on the train's direction) will be diminished as he loses momentum. Thus allowing the fire extinguisher to suspend him mid air for a longer distance. Pics Unrelated:

Obligatory pic: If I remember physics right (if I don't someone will correct me), since everything in the train is moving with it, you can pretty much say that the train is immobile so it has no impact at all. If you throw a ball at the speed of 10 km/h in a train advancing at 150 km/h, the ball will still go at the rate of 10 km/h as long as you observe it from inside the train. Pic:

Its still solvable If you click the bottom right square, youll then be able to see if its an empty square or if it says "1". If it says 1, then you know the correct solution is 01001. If its an empty square, then you can click the next square up because no mines are nearby. The next square up will be a "1" and then youll know that the solution is 10010.

Aww Hmm. Edit: Sometimes I put things here because I don't know what the last thing I copied was. Hope this is cool.

Pic: As long as the train moves at a constant rate, so will the guy on a fire extinguisher. It makes no difference if the train is moving. Lets say that the fire extinguisher can push him 10 km/h normally, and that the train is going 150km/h. Also, for our example, he's going towards the back of the train. To an observer on the train, he still is going 10 km/h. To an observer standing stationary along the tracks, he is going 140 km/h. Note that relative to the train, he's always going 10 km/h no matter how fast the train is going. Oblig pic
