That's a pretty big statement by Hiya. The non-practice partner players who have retired since the scandal, other than ForGG are: Firefist, Frozen, Hogil, July, Kwanro, MVP, Nada, Boxer, Puma and Iron. Did I miss anyone?
I highly doubt Nada or Boxer would be involved in something like this, and I don't think Iron(MC) played often enough that he would get the offer. It's probably someone on Hite, CJ, KT or STX, since these teams already had match-fixers. So, Firefist on KT, Frozen or July on STX, Hogil or Puma on Hite or Kwanro on CJ. I think the players who switched to SC2 are less likely to be involved, so Firefist, Frozen, Kwanro and Hogil sounds like the main suspects. If you look at Kwanro it makes sense. He fell in ranking after that event. Hogil also left the scene at a weird time, when he was just starting to put out good results, maybe the guilt caught up with him. But then this could just be a rumour.
kwanro, hogil and frozen but if they were match fixing why weren't they pull down with all the other match fixers ?

Nah. Hogil retired because one day he woke up and realized that it was his destiny to give up his spot in the OSL to Jangbi, so that he could save the world BW with his awe inspiring victory.

Hiya IS known for being one of the highest APM players on the scene, isnt he? Like 420+average apm
Nope, about 330 average over the coarse of a 20-30 min game. He sticks around 400 in the first 8-10 minutes.

Kwanro/Hogil both had decent results when theyquit. IIRC ForGG wasn't doing too awfully either, just not really living up to his past successes. Speculation is really pointless, in fact if it was someone like Nada/July/Boxer I'd rather not know.

This is like bnet attack every time I turn in. The star is just destroying the chumps he manages to match against. I am so happy HiyA is streaming.
EDIT: So much thanks to everyone translating and everything else. It's so easy to watch and hear a Korean progamer, and I have the collective badassery of TL to thank. This is the best thread on TL at the moment.

But then this could just be a rumour. No point in speculating. He didn't say A teamers. The list of retirees in the past year or so is much longer than that. And it's not Kwanro because SKT made Kwanro sign a clause that requires him to return to T1 if he comes out of retirement. Edit: When he posted his retirement message on his cyworld, Kwanro also made it very clear it's not because of match-fixing that he retired. Why would a B teamer be offered to match fix? They don't even play regularly and they are expected to lose anyway. I'm positive that the ppl Hiya was thinking about was among those players I mentioned. That doesn't mean it's true though. Anyway, I think Kwanro just looks more suspicious by mentioning that he didn't quit because of the match-fixing.
