I'm not too worried about switch types because almost any switch is gonna be way better than rubber domes (right?). Plus, the G80-3000 uses MX Blues, which seem to be pretty "newbie-friendly". I tried a Black Widow at a store once (which also uses MX Blue, if I'm not mistaken) and I really liked the feel of the keys. Also, I don't really care about gaming features like NKRO, Macro keys, etc. I never had any need for those in SC2. I really think a keyboard is not worth 70+ € for the stuff that I do. Maybe that means I should just get a rubber-dome. I don't know. The G80-3000 seemed nice, is there any reason why you guys would advise against it? Once again, thank you very much. Ah i see. In that case i guess G80-3000 would be nice. If you've tried and enjoy the cherry mx blue switches then go for it! Just make sure you get the blue switches because similar keyboard models usually come with different switches. Do let us know how it goes! EDIT: No idea why my post is bolded O.O

If you know you like blues then the Cherry board should be fine (don't have one but the internet says they are ok) Hope you like it On November 12 2011 11:51 Shangiv wrote: is there any mechanical keyboard that usable for windows 98? i still dont have a good computer yet Im 90% sure that any mech board will work fine with win 98. Maybe the driver software for the Blackwidow wouldn't work, but most boards have standard keyboard drivers.

Brown cherry keys is boss, best for gaming/typing/home use. Tried the razer keyboards, such flimsy shitty keys on it, and cheap plastic feel Edit: anyone know where i can buy key caps for my das keyboard in canada?

I just received a white Leopold tenkeyless with Cherry clear switches (stiff tactile) and I absolutely love it. I used to own a Filco with Cherry browns and eventually moved to a Steelseries 6Gv2, the sensitive switches just aren't for me. Either way, EK is selling every switch at the moment for a very good price compared to Das, Deck, Filco, etc. Also note that some of the run is limited. I asked if they were going to be selling a full size board with clears and they said that there were no plans for it, and that the tenkeyless clears themselves were a limited item. Hope this helps!

Does anyone who has bought one have anything to say about them? The board is a rebranded filco, very solid board for under $110, RK series is a very good board for the price range. You save yourself $40-50 by buying this rather than getting a standard filco branded board. 5/5 stars on these RK-9000 boards.

(I know because im typing on it) But ebay would probably be the best bet there, I don't think any retailers sell them anymore.
