Hey, I recently bought a new headset. Creative Soundblaster Tactiic3d Alpha. I bought because I wanted an USB-Headset.
Now my friends ond Skype or TS3 say they can barely hear me. I set all the volumes to max, in windows and the creative driver, but the problem still persists. The USB-Adapter does not offer any Mic-Boost.
I hope somebody here has an Idea how to solve this. Thx in advance

you cant go into sound->recording-> your mic -> levels and see mic boost? Did your headset come with a special software?

I have them too and the only way to fix it is not use the usb part. You actually get better sound and mic performace with out it....
|
@boblhead: no. mic boost does not exist @iconiy: that's sad actually, in that case I'll probably get a new one. Any suggestions? ^^

they actually sound really good and the mic is very powerful without the usb. but if its the usb part that you are looking for i would try something logitech. I believe they have the largest selection of good usb headets.

I got this Headset too, and i was annoyed by it. But the solution is very simple ;-D I put the soundcable into the usb adapter and the mic in the ordinary micport in the PC... it workes normal.
Just never give up thinking (i 20 seconds for this solution)
