I don't see SC2-TW game under my account.. i already downloaded the starter client
|
i can't get the starter edition to appear under my games, and i have relocalized and i have the taiwan game open......
what do i do to get the stupid starter edition to pop up under my account's game list?
|
I have a confusing conundrum... I have the TW starter edition showing while logged in on the US Battle.net website. However, if I go to tw.battle.net I don't have it.
-.-
This is annoying because I need to be logged on TW to actually use my points.
FFS.

You don't get a CD key, you get game points to redeem in the amount that can purchase the game from blizzard.
Just go back and read the thread more carefully, all the information is there.

well i didnt get even the points....
|
Yeah it worked well for me......you are actually buying points to spend at battle.net....not the actual game.....then you just pick Starcraft 2 (TW region) and click on the play for free button to get the starter edition....and then you just download the thing.....and upgrade it later on......with the points that you just bought

What did you get? You should have had an email with a code in it. Or if I remember right the code will also be in the account purchase on the website.
|
yeah i received the code and the password , what should i do with it ??

You redeem the code for points on battle.net, it's just enough points to purchase a copy of the TW game.
Just read the thread, all the info is there with step by step guide.

You can use KR client, but you need to relocalize it (with something like dat http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=283919 )
|
Step #3: Create bnet account on your region's battle.net
So create one on the TW server or use your OWN server? Because when I try to make a starter edition account on TW, it asks me for a NID if I try to create an account on the TW server.
Edit: nvm from the picture above it seems i can add it to my USA one.

You make it on TW bnet, search google for NID generator or taiwanese SNN generator.
EDIT: From above poster.

Only TW client, all other clients will need to be relocalized to TW.

Thanks a bunch!

TW client authenticates from a different server/database from the Korean one. Same ladder/players, but different authentication. That's why it needs to always be relocalized to TW and not Korea.

can't wait to practice my TvT, even if it is only on xel naga and shakuras xD
it's great though cus it means i can practice ONE matchup over and over without interruption and without doubt xD
