I don't find many foreigners attractive looking period, and in my opinion none of the foreigners have that "cute" look a lot of koreans have...just because they're foreigners and that look just doesn't happen.
personally though, i'd just be happy if some of the pro's didn't show up looking like they hadn't showered in a week and then rolled themselves in butter and hair gel to try to cover the smell and natural grease.

Yeah, it's fucking pathetic. I'm glad we have none of that crap here. Fix game balance first, fix maps first, fix the ugly ass bnet minus two point crap oh interface and system, add a banlist for hackers, add a 'rejoin game after disc' feature, bring back clan functionality and FUCKING REAL chat channels...and only then...only then, ruin the scene with idiotic music and terribad metrohomo approaches.
I care about how players play, not about how they look. If I want to see beautiful people, esports is not my first resource...and it shouldn't be.
And while you're at it, get rid of the retarded 'hwaiting' phrase, it makes me picture those who say it as unable to utter the word 'waiting' properly, like if there were something stuck in their throats and they dragged the H to places they shouldn't.
In a nutshell, keep e-sports gaming related, thanks.
I find myself agreeing with this post, as uncomfortable as it is for me to say that. I have no problem with homosexuality, but jumping into the SC2 scene and finding everyone calling the dudes up there " cute" or "handsome" is kinda off putting for anyone who wants to get into e-sports. I never understood how that even became the norm here in the first place.
Also agree with "hwaiting". Theyre saying the word "fighting", why not spell it that way? You know the Koreans who actually say it don't even spell it "hwaiting" because they got their own writing system. It also just sounds goofy ass hell to anyone unless youre actually a Korean person living in Korea. Not a big deal tho, just a pet peeve. Its like when Japanese people add English to their song lyrics, it usually just sounds retarded because theyre copying another culture and not doing it well at all.
That's because you're looking at it from an entirely american point of view. At first glance I agreed with every word as well, but as you delve into other cultures, particularly far eastern ones, you gain a sense of it all. It might seem strange to a random teenager who hasn't had any exposure to asian mannerisms, but its just something you have to get used to. I still cringe a little when I see 'hwaiting' but it's nothing I can't handle. That being said, I think "sex appeal" is the wrong phrase.

Surely this is sarcasm?
I think Kwanny says it quite well, actually. I agree with all his points.
Progamers just need to remember that they expose themselves to 100k people. If I would knew that beforehand I would dress up and make me look my best for an even.

Starcraft is important but so is appeal
No it isn't. Unless some of the pros aren't pretty horrible to look at all is good. And none of the pros are ugly. You really don't need more.
