This is true even being very tedious you maybe get 3 hours of unique game play and you completed everything, then its just about 1 2 hours per class of dicking around to beat it with every class i can't see me doing much with this outside of one week

It doesn't even make my processor fan run loud (game goes to 47-48C and my processor fan picks up at 50) To put into perspective, playing a DS rom is harder on my computer. Playing Guild Wars (6 or is it 7 now years old) is also harder. *edit : Other feedback : Those are quite possibly the worst skill tooltips of all time. Throw weapon : Throws a large axe. Ok so how much damage does it do? Any secondary effects?... oh, you're not going to tell me are you? lol I thought ur just another guy whining, but ya.. what's the deal with the tooltips? for example it says "leap to a specified location" but gives no indication of how much damage or anything? how are we supposed to decide between what skills to use :| also theres DPS but I didn't see any min/max damage indicator. Also the character turning radius is rly annoying, even tho its quite small Apart from this its bomb, pretty sure it'll be the best game ever made.

As an old school d1 and 2er back in the day, I'm disappointed in the narrative more then anything else. The dialogue is predictable, cheesy, and a lot of the time poorly written. I felt like I was reading something from a highschool creative writing class at times. All in all, what's in the beta doesn't really feel like a diablo game. The 'feel' is more like one of the many imitations that have come around over the years, rather then the originals. It's kinda disappointing to me, I was really hoping they were going to put more effort into this.

I still didn't get in... >.>, oh well, I just want a release date.

It's kinda disappointing to me, I was really hoping they were going to put more effort into this. I played d2 for 5 years, absolutely loved the beta. I don't get your problem with the narration, in D2 I skipped everything the townsfolk and books etc said, just watched the cinematics. In d3 they really improved it, and alot of games should follow its template. You don't have to sit in one spot listening to each townsfolk's wall of text (like in skyrim, made me bored rly fast). Alot of the story is now explained while u walk around/in battles etc, which is really really good imo. I'm glad the lines are simple and to the point, they dont try to make it convoluted like in bastion (mysterious narrator with mysterious kid in dreamland). I thought the game felt exactly like diablo 2, and had a way better atmosphere (more grim). Any if you think it should be more like D1, I can't even begin to fathom why - that game was incredibly slow and frustrating. Anyway I'm not trying to contradict u, I just completely disagree with everything u said.

The beta is good for figuring out what class you want to play come release. I was at a total tossup between all of them besides the monk and now I know I definitely want to start with a Witchdoctor. All of the classes were interesting in their own ways though. Basically there is nothing to do in the beta though past 6-8 hours of playing. It looks like almost everyone who opted-in will get a chance to play eventually. Cant wait for the release!
