Sorry if this is another stream thread , but i searched so much and i still can't find a solution.
My specs :
i7 930 @ 2.8 GHz 16G DDR 3 Ati Radeon HD 5970 2G
And i use Xsplit The problem does't lie on my stream quality etc , so speed is irrelevant.
As long as i remember Screen region never worked for me. Even if i wasn't streaming and Xsplit was just on , every game i played lagged.
So i found a brilliant thread in here that suggested Dxtory !!! and boyy was it great ! I didn't even notice i was streaming , i played with 120 fps and streamed 30 , with pretty cool quality for my 0.6 mb upload.
But for a few days now , my Dxtory doesn't recognise dota 2 anymore (still recognizes sc2 , skyrim etc) and i have no idea why .
Any suggestions for Dxtory ? Or for my first problem with screen region so i can maybe return to that ?!
What i tried : Every little thing i found online , and reinstalling Dota 2.

It's an update that the dota2 devs made to make alt-tabbing perform better. This messes with the way dxtory hooks into the game.
To make dxtory work again follow these steps :
Go to your steam library and right click dota2 -> properties -> set launch options -> on the line you put :
-nod3d9ex
Have fun

I am having a different problem where when I go to record so Xsplit picks it up, it still remains black. This was working before but now that BH patch it, this started happening.

-nod3d9ex does not work for me. Dxtory does not 'pick' up the game

The -nod3d9ex Command worked just fine for me. it's important to note that you need to have the game on screan befor Dxtory can detect it. For example if you start the game befor dxtory it will not detect untill you tab back into the game at least once.
