The thing is, when Stephano says he plays on instinct, I don't think he's lying. Talented players are like that - they don't think about what they do, they just do it, and it ends up being good. I don't think he's able to explain it himself.

It's a shame geoff wasn't here with stephano... it would have been a LOT of fun

Don't you worry for me, I have activities.

Man that was hillarious. Stephano so honest and its so funny.
I dont agree with him that protoss should get a buff but still funny to hear from a zerg.
And Phoenix with +2 is still shit lol

I think you right he is just an amasing talent. All instinct. Build orders? whats that lol

Here you can see a blob of gray and over there is some white lines and in this back area there's something that's blue, maybe a screen?

Stephano such a boss. Hilarious.

I was never really a big Stephano fan, but seeing him here just kind of being humble but obviously in a state of bossing it up... he's actually a really cool guy.
It's a nice change of pace to see a really good foreign zerg not complaining about the state of zerg, too.

I agree with Mohdoo. Stephano is one of the most cerebral players out there, he uses a combination of his instinct and his uncanny intelligence to play out each game but he's also smart enough to mess with people's and perhaps other players perception of him. Three to four hours a day of practice a day and he's suddenly head and shoulders above everyone else in europe? Perhaps he is that talented but more likely he's hiding aspects of his training routine/training length. Or maybe it's just might be his dry french humour.
Today I saw him play White Ra and toss him around like a Rag Doll. White Ra tried everything against Stephano he possibly could think of (and then some) but Stephano easily beat him 10-1.

Stephano: Don't you worry for me, I have activities. White-Ra: Special Tactics. Stephano: That too.

Day9 got the closest to what I was thinking, but where was the comment that using the N word period, is actually kinda wrong? Then to joke about it at the end of the show? You have to be kidding me. Orb dismissed people who are outraged as just being "HATERS". I don't hate you because you have a good job in E-Sports, I dislike you because you are a racist bigot with no grasp on reality or what is right/wrong. No matter how much you wanted to offend someone, you should never use the N word, its simple.
Since JP brought up Idra. Saying "you're so fucking dumb it works" "nice race" is no where as severe as saying "you take dumb N risks"
Sadly parents in this world don't teach their kids that racism is wrong, and you are a prime example. Your parents let you and society down. You have now started a meme which involves a racial slur, good job bro. Funny thing is, indirectly, you have done exactly what you bitched about on the show. Now a new sponsor will check out the SC2 scene and the first thing that will jump out at them is how freely people are willing to say "dumb N risks". I'd love to associate my company with this community!
There is a reason LoL is growing bigger than SC2. It isn't because of the game, it is because of how LoL wants their community.
edit: Just for clarification. I enjoy SC2 more than LoL. I am just simply stating my take on why LoL gets more viewers than SC2.
This.

I need to unfollow @starcraft...
|
That what i love with all my fellow frenchies doing interviews in english in any stream/game/Lan ect. Always pretty straight, not cuz they are like it, just cuz of the lack of vocabulary :D Yet works pretty well seeing everyone going crazy about stephano right now ^^
|
Since LoL's community is a horrendous cesspit in which far worse thing are said on a very, very regular basis, somehow I doubt that's got anything to do with it's success.
|
Guys, please invite Stephano again, particularly when Incontrol is present.
|
My favorite part was when Stephano told us not to do drugs :D
|
LoL succes comes from it's model and the fact that anyone can get good at it without puttting any time in it, which is the total opposite of sc2..
Just put online a free version of starcraft with shit as smartcast ( like auto-blink when 99% shield, auto lift for phoenix, auto strom, auto anything ) and the number of people playing it will just blow.
