ShinHan2 OSL Week 3.2
Group A: Anytime vs July on Tau Cross
Definately the game of the night, Liquibet had July as a comfortable favorite. Unfortunately for the majority, Anytime abused July by fast expanding and defending well against mutas and guards. Some stealthy ninjas repeatedly emptied July's expansions of drones, and SumoZerg could not match the 3 expo armies of Anytime.
Group A status:
Anytime 2-0 will advance to the round of 16
Midas 2-0 will advance to the round of 16
July 0-2 will play Casy for a wildcard spot
Casy 0-2 will play July for a wildcard spot. The loser goes to the Dual round.
Group B: Bisu vs ChoJJa on Peaks
The second protoss gamer of the night, and another protoss win. Bisu embarassed ChoJJa with graceful but forceful play. ChoJJa's lurker/ling/defiler tactics may be strong against terran, but vs a protoss of Bisu's current stature, it was nothing. I am becoming a believer, keeps your eyes on this kid.
Group B status:
Bisu 2-0 will move to the round of 16
FireBatHero 1-1
JiHyun 1-1 both 1-1 players can finish as high as first or be out completely.
ChoJJa 0-2 win or die.
Group C: Ever vs GoodFriend on Arcadia II
GoodFriend sucks. The only player worse than GoodFriend is Ever. Clash of the friggin titans eh? Ever raped GF early on with a constant stream of proxy dt's. After forcing back the terran expansion and seeing GF turtle, Ever decided to make no troops and double expand himself. After retaking his expansion 15 minutes later, GF found Ever still had no troops, and promptly steamrolled him.
Group C status:
Ever 1-1
YellOw 1-1
Shine[name] 1-1
BadFriend 1-1
Two people will advance after this week, while the two losers will have a tie-break for the wildcard spot.
Group D: Jju vs Canata on Arkanoid
Jju owned Canata fast on this supposed island map. With those two tempting expansions, Canata assumed he would be safe for a bit. However, early two hatch muta's from Jju crushed an initial MM force, and then capitalized on shoddy building placement by Canata. It was fast and ugly.
Group D status:
Sea[sheild] 2-0 will advance to the round of 16
Jju 2-0 will advance to the round of 16
Canata 0-2 will fight Rock for the wild card
Rock 0-2 will fight Canata for the wild card
Group E: Jy vs Light[name] on Arkanoid
Jy played like a whirling dervish this game. As seems to be the early trend, he pinned Light in his base with early mutalisks. As Light spent all his time defending, Jy was free to double expand in his own base and climb the tech tree to defilers, guardians, and ultralisks. By the time Light was able to leave with any sizable force, Jy was already super-sayan, and ran over everything.
Group E status:
NaDa 2-0 will move to the round of 16
Jy 1-1
ZergMan 1-1
Light 0-2
This one starts to get complicated. If Light beats Zergman, and NaDa beats Jy, then there is a three way tie for 2nd and the world will collapse.
Group F: Iris vs GoRush on Tau Cross
Iris tried to spark up GoRush's sunken line, but failed with one remaining. GoRush teched to lurker drops and ended it a while later, with Iris being on the defensive after his initial attack.
Group F status:
GoRush 1-1
Iris 1-1
GGPlay 1-1
Cloud 1-1
As with group C, two winner will move on from the final week, while the two losers will fight for the wildcard.

I know this was a lot of numbers, but hopefully it gave you a big picture sense of what is going on. Progaming is busier than ever these days, and it is a chore to stay on top of it all. Remember, you can always use the teamliquid tracker to watch any of these games, as it is maintained by very cool guys such as hasuprotoss and live2win. Dont forget to say thank-you, as they spend their time and energy for you.
