"How does this work: 10 players from each race were chosen based on the following criteria: CSL performances, ladder, and tournament results. Four administrators made lists and the average of those lists are the final players. Everyone will be able to vote for a player of each race they think should be an All Star! The top 2 from each race will be awarded invitations to the event. The final two players will be chosen by a coordinator vote. No coordinator can vote for his or her own player."

I totally understand that would be a lot of work and admin-hours to run though I think it would be better if the last two slots were chosen from each of the top 2 schools competing in the grand finals of CSL. Makes more sense logistically and at the same time give spots to schools who are well-deserving (obviously by making it to grand finals).

That way there is still the chance for an up-and-coming player who didn't make it on this list to still have a shot, and it doesn't require any additional work from CSL admins. And anyway, not all coordinators know all of the players well enough to make it any less of a popularity contest. Just let each finalist pick a player and it's good to go.
