How many people are usually there, and would it be weird to just show up by my lonesome? There's a LAN this upcoming Sunday in Mission Viejo, CA (South Orange County), and then there's a BarCraft in San Diego for MLG Spring Arena 2 -- check them out on facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/sandiegoesports It would definitely not be weird to come by yourself, tons of people do, and you'll make a lot of new friends. That what these things are all about.

Twitch did you get a Player Pass for MLG Anaheim? Sorry for sizeable bump... If he gets one next year, PM me as I am coming from Palm Desert, so if I just take the 210 for a bit I can save him any transportation trouble. I'm thinking of sponsoring a 18 yr masters player as well. If you got it covered cable just ignore this. Main reason posting/bumping thread: hailing from Palm Desert, any other coachella valley folks up for some broodwar? Or sc2 or Rome or c&c... I guess... I have some connections who are used to organizing LAN parties but stuff fell apart. Bring your own PC and a Ethernet cable if you have one otherwise we can handle that. Just post or pm. May be in Indio, depends where people are, who shows up, who's willing to host... I just miss our 70 apm broodwar days, I've never been that great (old guy of the group, silver, youngest brother when I played my brothers back in the 90's) but when the other guys really got into the scene I just found it was ok to lose, and was proud of them. Then sc2 came and I just sandbag everyone and nobody wants to play broodwar. Also a LAN is no commitment, I have tons of semi-free time but rarely a half hour block that I KNOW I can dedicate to ladder. If I get a call from work I can just drop the game and come back later. Don't get me wrong, I'm having tons of fun solo ladder, taking ppl to tourneys, talking/watching sc2! But I miss the broodwar side and the above IS true. And I know ppl are going to say, "customs"... Yes and no. I just suddenly leave a custom online... I dunno. It's different over the net I guess? Anyway, broodwar. That argument is less valid now.
