Warning: MMM 2011 clearly states that it is a financial pyramid. I understand that most users on Teamliquid.net and Defiler.ru are smart enough to not throw their money away, but, let's be honest... a few of you guys aren't that bright. So, for full disclosure, MMM 2011's website states that you can instantly lose all your money 'invested' in MMM 2011 at "any moment for no obvious reason". It is also my opinion (and also a fact) that you will almost certainly make very little to no money by investing in MMM 2011. None of my statements have been evaluated or approved by any government, business or legal entity, and do not reflect the official position of Teamliquid.net, or any of it's owners/users. Also, know that I not responsible for any damages, financial, personal, physical, spiritual, and so-forth that may occur as a result of you reading these statements, so if a bear breaks down your door with it's massive claws and mauls you viciously immediately after you read these contents, it's not my fault.
It's almost that time of week again! Time to stock up on energy drinks so you can maintain a state of consciousness during some ungodly hour of night so you can watch and play in the defiler.ru tour, and cure your ravenous hunger for more BroodWar. The event is sponsored by the ever-scheming Sergey Mavrodi, founder of MMM 2011, a social financial thingy devoted to world happiness (aka procuring your money) and brotherhood for all peoples. MMM 2011 has generously donated an unreal 100$US for the weekly tours, so enjoy!

Maybe not that many, but if I remember correctly the exciting final between Scan and the mystery Gargoyle wasn't played ?

You should send an email to Yoda if you feel this way.

just saying that if the tournament lasts for about 8-10 hours then many people are so tired in the end that their level of play is well.. not top tier I would say
or they just leave
Just an idea ofc I doubt it will ever get implemented

oh its like that ? only people from USA make wo's ? I thought its because it lasts so long
Lots of people like sziky/sneazel for example will leave if they lose early in the tour since they don't want to wait many hours to play in the loser bracket, but that's just from the format. Also, with what eon said most americans will leave because its 2am ->8am for them by the time they are playing again so there's not much point you will end up like scan in the finals @ 11am and be too tired to play anyway. However, in the end you can really only keep this format that they have set up because a 2-day tour wouldn't make much sense since many people are busy. (us foreigners are not the same as koreans, we don't devote the time to play sc:bw as much, hence the organization of such a format, ie: 2day, would be quite hard)
