No, he said clearly that he bought the account months ago; not the game, the account. That was a mistake because Blizzard has specific policies regarding that type of thing regardless how harmless it may be.

I understand where you're coming from, but that's just your interpretation of what he said. If I were to write his post I would have used the word account too even though I bought the game/account directly from Blizzard. So really it could mean either one.

Well, yeah, but pair that up with "I do not know where I wrote down what city I was born in" and it does begin to sound kind of fishy. Though I wouldn't know what people would get out of buying SC2 accounts from other people, so maybe he just has problems expressing himself.
